Hyunjin x Felix series 2

Miss you

A week later.

Jisung eats at his desk at work and Minho accompanies him. He starts weeping once again over his food.

"When are you gonna stop crying over him?"
"I..don't know. Maybe when I see him again."

"You look at his pictures all the time."
"I meant in person, Minho."

"Sigh. Just try to take your mind off him.", he hands him a tissue.
"O..ok."

The younger holds back on his tears, which made him look like he about to blow up. He tries thinking of something else, but couldn't and then burst into tears.

"New record. Six seconds."
"It's no use. I miss him too much. I hate myself."

"Don't blame your heart for having feelings."
"Stupid heart."

"Finish eating before you look like a twig."
Jisung crosses his arms.

"I will feed it to you. At least be upset and eat.", Minho placed the spoon in his hand and made him eat.

"I got an invitation to Jinhyun's birthday. Do you wanna come?"
"What?! You got an invitation and I didn't?! What the fuck!"

Jisung storms out the office and rushes off to Felix's house with the older following. After the drive he goes up to the door and bangs on it. Felix opens it.

"What the hell, Felix! Why didn't you give me an invitation?! I know you don't want to see me, but that's very cruel of you."

"I did wanted to see you. I was on my way to give it to you just now.", he hands him the envelope.

"...oh. Thank you."
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah. Why?"

"Your eyes are red."
"It's nothing. I'm peachy."
"Do you...want to come in?"

"No. I should get going to work."

It was an awkward moment. Jisung walked back to the car and the blonde wanted to stop him but didn't so he went back inside. Jisung turns around at a closed door then gets in the car.

"I'm ok. I'm fine. Let's go." Not a tear left his eyes this time.

Felix heads back into the living room.
"You ok?", asked Hyunjin.

"Yeah. I'm good.", he smiles softly to himself.

After Jisung got off work, he goes home then opens the envelope. It was a photo of Jinhyun one side and a written note on the other. He reads the note and a smile starts to form. A light laugh escaped his mouth as his eyes got teary.

"Oh Felix." He pulls out his phone and texted him in hopes he'll reply back. And he did.

I read your note

And??

It was funny
I needed that

So you'll come

I wouldn't miss it for anything

I'll tell Jinhyun
I miss you

Jisung reads the last message, but hesitated to respond back. He types something then deletes it, afraid to send it. He turns off his phone then takes a shower.

Felix waits for him, but never got anything.
"I felt like I made a mistake. Did I make a mistake, Lily?"

She just stares at him with her thumb in her mouth.

"This feels...like a lost a good friend. I want him back, but I'm afraid to tell him. He said he was doing ok maybe he doesn't miss me."

The little one coos.
"Want me to stop talking?"
She closes her eyes.

"Heh ok. I'll let you sleep." He sets her gently in her crib after kissing her forehead.

He leaves the room then walks down to the kitchen.
"Why is Jinhyun still awake?"

"He isn't tired. Right, my gummy bear?", he tickles him making him laugh.

"He still has to sleep, Hyun."

"He will. Also, I want to apologize if I ruined yours and Jisung's friendship. I guess I was being too protective. I trust you and your loyalty to this family, so you can hang out with him again."

"You mean it? I don't want to upset you."
"I mean it."

"I love you! You're the best!" Felix hurries to the door to put on his shoes and calls Jisung in the process.

"Hell-"
"Jisung, meet me in the park right now ok? And hurry."

He hangs up and left the house. Jisung rushed and did the same since the blonde made it sound like it was urgent. They arrived and stood at opposite sides of the park, looking at each other. Felix starts running then the older did too until they embraced each other in their arms.

"Oh Jisung I missed you so much."
"I missed you too."
"You did?"

"Why wouldn't I? I couldn't get you off my mind."

"I'm sorry. What I did was harsh and I never meant to hurt you. Will you forgive me?"

"Does that mean we're friends again?"
"Best friends."

"Then I forgive you.", he hugs him again.
"Thank you. I'm grateful."

They pull away.

"If you still have feelings for me, I don't mind it. I'd rather we be like this than before. If I wasn't with Hyunjin, I'd be flattered you thought of me that way."

"That means so much to me. Thanks for saying that. I feel relieved."

The younger fixes Jisung's hair.
"Good. Do you want to come over tomorrow?"

"I'll stop by after a date with Minho."
"Ok. See you then."

They hugged goodbye before going back home. As soon as the older entered his place he jumps up with excitement then hops on his bed.

"If he hadn't met Hyunjin...I wonder what that'll be like."
