Jinhyun's birthday party I

"Can we leave now? We've been standing here for twenty minutes.", Minho says.

"We can't leave until I find the perfect gift for Jinhyun.", Jisung told and stands there staring at the different toys, being indecisive.

"Ugh." The older grabs everything from the shelf and puts it in the shopping cart.

"There. Now let's go."
"What's the rush?"
"I don't want to stand here all day."

"I'm sorry, but I have to make sure Jinhyun gets the perfect gift from me."

"We have the whole collection. It's perfect enough."
"Ok now let's get pick out some gift bags."

"Damn.", Minho cursed under his breath.

As the younger tries to decide between several gift bags for a while, Minho gets tired but he rather stay with him than wait in the car. He wraps his arms around his waist from behind while resting his chin on his shoulder.

"Do you think the bags should be all the same or different designs?", Jisung asks.

"Mm."

"I think it's better with different designs. But, it's cheaper to get it all the same."

Jisung stops what he's doing when he feels the older rubbing his stomach constantly.

"I hope you're not thinking what I think you're thinking."
"Maybe."

"We've talked about this, Minho. Besides you don't even like kids."
"Not other people's."

Without a word the younger grabs a variety of bags then walks out of Minho's grip to put them in the basket.

"Say something."
"I've already told you before. My mind isn't gonna change."

"Should we marry first?"
"What?", he halts. "That's the most ridiculous thing you've ever said."

"Harsh. You could've just said no."
"Where's this coming from? I think we're fine the way we are now."

"Maybe because I love you so much."
"I love you too, but we shouldn't rush this."

"Fine."

Minho gets a bit upset and the two don't talk on the way home. The younger gets dropped off at his home along with the presents which he ends up wrapping by himself. Later, he calls up Felix to come over and talk to him and luckily the blonde was able to. When he arrived he walks in and first noticed the bunch of toys all over the floor.

"Holy shit, Jisung. You bought all of this for Jinhyun?"
"Well, I was planning on getting one or two but ask Minho about it."

"There's nowhere to step."
"Hold on." The older moves the toys so Felix can walk to the bed.

"Y'all didn't have to get this much. Where am I supposed to put them?"

"I can return some. Do you want a drink?", he asks from the kitchen.
"What's wrong? You're not like your usual self."

"It's Minho. He got upset."
"What happened?"
Jisung makes his way to his bed and sat next to the younger.

"You know how I said that I wouldn't want kids? Well, he does which shocked me."

"No fucking way!"
"I know right? Then he's like should we get married first."

"He proposed too?"
"I don't think so. He literally said, should we get married first?"

"And you said no?"
"Of course I did. I like how we are now. Why rush it to where we might regret it later?"

"He just needs some time. If he really loves you then he'll be willing to wait for you.", he rubs his back in comfort.
