Hyunjin's sister

"What? You did? H-how?", Hyunjin asked.
"She's our new pediatrician."
"What?"

"We talked for a bit."
"Uh...about..about what?"

"Why you look so stricken? Come on, Lily. Drink your medicine." Felix tries to feed it to her but she kept moving her head, whining.

"I know I never told you about her but what could I say?"

"That she exists. I've been your husband for three years but known you for much longer and I didn't even know you had a sister."

"I'm sorry, babe."
"Don't apologize to me. Where's Jinhyun?"
"I dropped him off at daycare already."

"Oh. I should call Lily's teacher then. And you, your sister. Or I'll infect you with the flu."
"Gasp! You wouldn't dare. I have important work to attend to.", he takes a step back.

"Wanna bet?", he told in serious tone.
"Sigh. Fine."

The next day Felix gets sick with the flu as well and Hyunjin has insisted to stay in Lily's room until he was better. Constantly cleaning and wearing masks and gloves around the house, Hyunjin makes sure that he or Jinhyun didn't get sick. After the call to the kid's pediatrician, Hyunjin's sister, he and Jinhyun went to her office during her break at work.

"Hyunjin."
"Yeji.", he takes a seat with Jinhyun in his lap.
"So surprised that you actually showed up."

"No need to be sarcastic. I'm doing this-"
"Because your husband is making you? Tsk. Never changed at all."

"Enough about me. Do you want to meet my son or not?"
"Duh."

"Jinhyun, this is your aunty."
The little one takes a peek at her then quickly hides his face in his appa's chest.

"What a spitting image of you. I bet he won't abandon you, Jinhyun."
"I didn't abandon you. You were old enough to be on your own."

"You cut me out of your life. Seriously, oppa. You have a whole family that cease to know that I exist. You could've at least invited me to the wedding. I probably wouldn't have shown up but an invitation would've been nice."

The older rolled his eyes. "What about you? There's a lot of things you didn't tell me either."

"There's nothing to know. I've been working for this job. Literally all I have. It's just me married to my job. Not very exciting, is it?"

Hyunjin thinks about what would Felix tell him to do in this moment. He needs to say it on his own and not be told to.

"Sigh. Once Felix and Lily are feeling better you can stop by."
Yeji scoffs. "You don't want me there."

"Believe whatever you want. I'm inviting you to my house. Take it or leave it."
"Well I'm doing this for our parents sake. I'll take it."

"Appa, I'm hungry.."

"Would you like a lollipop, Jinhyun?", she asks.
"He can't eat sugar. It doesn't sit well with his stomach."

"At least you told me before I gave it to him. Can't say that about everything."
"I'm leaving.", he stands.

"Again?"
"No. I meant I'm gonna feed my child."
"Oh. Well bye."

Hyunjin heads for the door then halts after opening it. He turns back. "I'll uh...see you later."

"Let's hope." Yeji rests her back against her chair while fiddling with a kids stress ball, looking at a frame photo of her and Hyunjin as kids.

Meanwhile. Felix was on a face call with Jisung as Lily sits on his lap playing with her toy, both sitting on the twin bed that Lily will soon use.

"Soo how are you both feeling?"

"Lily is feeling better but I'm not getting that much better. Hyunjin has us practically on quarantine so we have to stay this room."

"Really? What about going to the bathroom?"

"I use the kid's bathroom and Jinhyun is sharing the bathroom with Hyunjin now. It's just the flu so why is he being like this?"

"Maybe he's a hypochondriac."
"Could be. Whatcha been up to?"

"Minho is still trying to get me to say the gender. He thinks he can break me but I won't."
"Why not just threaten you to take away-"

"Shhh! Shut up. He's next to me. And he doesn't know about that and if you tell him, I'll hit you."
"Ok my mouth is sealed."

Minho heard them and started thinking about what he should take away from Jisung.

"Any baby names yet?"
"No. We're waiting for he or she to be born."
"For gods sake, Jisung. Just tell me.", Minho commanded.

"No. Even if I did there would be a fifty percent chance that I'm lying."
"Ughh!", he stormed out the room.

"Teehee. He's so mad. It's funny."

"But in all seriousness what is it? I won't tell a soul and neither will Lily."
"I'll text you then delete it.", Jisung whispered.

After he sent the text it gets deleted and Felix was shocked.
"Is that the truth?"

"50-50."
"Jisung. Yes or no. I can help with the names."
"Ok fine. Yes it's true."

"So Minho's Eomma was right?"
"Strange huh? But come up with both gender names so no one else will know."

"Got it. I'm so happy for you."

"Thanks. I can't wait for this to be over. I'm thinking about the end so I won't panic over the painful process."
