Hyunjin x Felix series 2

New feelings?

Felix and Jisung took the kids to the zoo and spent the whole afternoon there taking pictures and videos of the little ones reacting to the animals. While at the petting section of the zoo, Jisung holds Jinhyun and walks up to a little goat.

"Wanna pet the goat, Jinhyun?", he kneels down and held out his hand. The little one gets scared and starts crying when he touched it.

"It's ok, Jinhyun. It won't hurt you.", the older tries to calm him down, but fails.

"What happened?"
"Maybe he's just scared."

"There's no need to be scared, my angel.", he holds him and pats his back. "Eomma will protect you."

His tears stop falling as he looks at Felix's smile and smiles back.
"Aww there's my happy boy."

"You're like a wizard.", told Jisung.

"I'm not doing anything special."
"He's like Hyunjin falling for you except younger."

"I think Lily will be different. Let's go for some ice cream."

The ice cream shop wasn't too far away from where they were and Jisung purchased a cup for everyone. As he feeds Lily her bottle Jinhyun stands on his eomma's lap and gets fed tiny amounts of vanilla ice cream. He screams in excitement, enjoying the treat.

"Jinhyun, no yelling please. Are you having fun?"
The older glances at him and he looks back.

"Who me?"
"Yes you."
"Oh. I am. I'm having a great time."

"I'm glad to hear it."
"When I was on my own I didn't do things like this."

"What did you do?"
"Work mostly. And do things people who are lonely always do."

"Then we met."

"Yeah. I remember you being harsh when we met. I said 'maybe we can be friends' and you said 'highly unlikely' or something like that."

"Yeah..I do that with everyone I meet. It's kind of a self defense barrier I put up so I won't get close to the wrong people."

"That's an odd way of saying I have trust issues."

"Ok maybe I do. But, my life I had before I met Hyunjin is a good reason why."

"Do you trust me?"

"Yes. I always confide in you and you always willing to take care of my kids without pay."

"Hmm. Maybe I should get paid."
"In your dreams."

"I'm kidding. I love these two. Do you love me, Lily?", he holds out his finger and she gently grabs it with her baby hand.

"Gasp! She does-", the older cuts off when she cooed and pushed his finger away a little bit. Felix snickered.

"Wow. Just like your Eomma. I mean how can she do that? She's like a month old."

"Jinhyun is the lovey dovey one."

Just then Jinhyun picks up the spoon in the ice cream cup and waves in around, splashing ice cream everywhere even on the blonde's face. Jisung laughs at him.

"I guess you spoke too soon. Here's some napkins. Dang. I have to go to work."

"Right now?"
"Yeah.."
"We can go now then."

"Are you sure?"
"Of course. It's time for their nap anyway. You can take my car."

"Oh I don't drive."
"You don't? Then how do you get to work?"

"By walking."
"No wonder you're so thin. I'll drive you don't worry."

They all leave the zoo and Felix drove the older to work. They arrived in less than fifteen minutes and Jinhyun and Lily fell asleep on the way.

"Do you need to change?"
"It's ok. I have a change of clothes there. Thanks for the ride. Hopefully, I won't be too long."

"Take your time. I can handle them."
"If you insist. Bye.", he opens the door.

"Jisung."
"Yes?" Felix was going to say something but backs out.

"Never mind. See you."
Jisung heads inside then the blonde drives off.

Later after putting his kids to sleep Felix goes into his bedroom and gets his secret box down from the shelf. Memories of Jisung runs through his mind.

'Can you ever be with me without having those feelings?, Felix asks.
No answer.'

'No you stay here and rest. I'll go take care of her., Jisung lays him back down.

You are a good friend.
Sleep well.'

'Don't worry about that. You're perfect.
You're just saying that to make me feel better.

I mean it believe or not., Jisung smiles.'

Felix sighs and texts Hyunjin not to bring back any souvenir. He then takes the box into the garage where he takes a deep breath before throwing it away except for one.

"Why do I like you too?" He goes back inside.
