Hyunjin x Felix series 2

Friends I

In the morning Felix was eating breakfast while his husband fed Jinhyun. The events from last night played in Hyunjin's mind since he couldn't help but overhear what they were talking about.

He feels it's his fault for making Felix feel that way and he wanted to do something about it.

"Felix, I know I told you to rest and taking care of Jinhyun by yourself can be tough on you. So, I wondering how you would feel if I hired someone to help you."

"You mean like a nanny?"

"Yes. On the days when I'm at work they'll come in and help you with Jinhyun."

"No. I don't like that."
"Why?"

"I don't want some stranger taking care of our child. I know you work a lot, but you need to be there for him as well. I don't want our children growing up without their appa. And I've been managing to take care of Jinhyun by myself."

He stands up and leaves the room.

"Sigh. What am I going to do? He's right though. I need to be here. What do you think I should do, gummy bear?"

He receives nothing.

"You're right I shouldn't stay silent. I have to make a change. For Felix. And I know just what it needs to be."

That early afternoon the doorbell rings and Felix made his way to the door with Jinhyun in his arm.

"Hey, Felix. You ready to get started?", Jisung says.
"For what? A marathon? What's with the sweat bands?

"For style."
"Yeah..it's not working. Take them off."

They walk into the living room and Felix sits on the couch.
"So, what'd you bring?"

"I got you a yoga mat of course.", he lays it on the floor. "I couldn't find anything you can use as support, but a chair can work too."

"What poses do you have me doing?"
"Nothing too difficult."

Felix puts his son in his play chair before sitting on the mat.
"Oh our first pose is on our feet."

The blonde stands up slowly.
"I guess we can sit down first.", he takes a seat.

"Jisung! Pick one already."
"Since you're standing we'll do a tree pose. Follow my lead."

The younger follows along, but struggles a bit.
"You need help?"

"No. I got it. Ugh. How do you put your foot up so high?"
"You don't have to. Just place it on your calf."

Felix listens, but has trouble balancing.
"I'll hold you. Try again."

Jisung holds him by his waist which helped.

"Now close your eyes and breathe deeply. In...and out. Relax your mind and let your spirits guide you. Just a few more seconds...and you are done."

"Huh. That wasn't so terrible."
"See? I told you so. Now onto the next."

Half an hour into poses and stretches Jinhyun starts crying.

"Oh no. What's wrong?", asked the older.

"He only cries when he's hungry. There's cut up strawberries for him in the fridge."

"Ok. Where are they?", opens the refrigerator.
"In the compartment on the door. It's in a ziploc bag."

"Oh. I see it. Do I need a plate?"
"There's plastic ones in the cabinet."

Jisung searches for the plastic plates in each cabinet in a hurry. Once they were found he grabs one then places the bite sized strawberries in it before setting it in front of the little one.

"Here you are, Jinhyun."
He stops crying then picks up a piece and eats it.

"Is it good? Wipe those tears away."

Jinhyun holds out his baby hand to him, making it look like he wants something.

"What? What is it? You want a high five?" The little one giggles and continues eating.

"Strange little fella."

Felix watches the two of them get along and smiles. The doorbell rings.

"I'll get it.", Felix starts to get up. He answers the door and there appeared another friend.

"Seungmin. You finally came."
"I knew how much you missed me."
"Isn't Changbin with you?"

"No it's just me."
"Come in. This is Jisung. Jisung, this is my other friend Seungmin."

"Look at you making friends.", Seungmin teased.
"I can make plenty of friends if I wanted to."

"What's with the mat?"

"We were doing yoga."
"Dang. I missed it? I wanted to see you struggle."

"Actually Felix did a bit well for his first time."
"See? Thanks Jisung."

"I bet Hyunjin said the same thing.", he snickered.
"I will hit you. Even with Jinhyun watching."

The three sit on the couch with Jisung holding baby Jinhyun.
"How did you two meet?", the younger asked.

"I'm his husband's assistant."
"Oh. What happened to the other one?"

"Rio? She stayed over there."
"Felix, you must be relieved."
"Yeah..", he yawns.

"Tired?"
The blonde nods. Jisung stands up.
"I'll help you to bed."

Felix takes his hand and they walked to the bedroom then he plops on his back.

"I didn't push you too far, did I?"
"No. I feel much better."
"You sure?"

"Mhmm. You're great."
"Do you want Jinhyun with you?"
"Does he look tired?"

The little one looks around blankly with his fingers in his mouth.
"Hmm. I don't know."

"He sleeps at 3."
"Ok. I'll make sure he gets his rest. Sleep well."

Jisung leaves the room and close the door gently before going back to the living room. Both him and Seungmin remained quiet in awkward silence until one speaks up.
