Hyunjin x Felix series 2

A false alarm

Jisung and Felix went out to find outfits for the older's big day. The blonde sits in a chair outside the dressing room, waiting for Jisung to come out.

"Ugh! This sucks. I can't fit into anything. I should've waited until after I was married."
"Im sure you look good no matter what."

"Really?", he comes out wearing a suit too small for him and his stomach was out.
Felix holds in his laugh.

"You look...ah what's the word?"
"Just say it. Ugly and fat."
"That's not true. Wear maternity clothes."

"Ugh. You're no help.", he goes back to change. The younger laughs quietly to himself.
"Sigh. So silly."

"Ackkk!! Arggg! Felix.."
The younger rushes to him and opens the curtains.

"Jisung? What's wrong?"
"My..stomach.", he grits his teeth.
"Is it a contraction?"

"I don't know."
"On a scale of one to ten how bad was it. Ten being the worst."

"Uhh maybe seven..?"
"That's pretty bad. Should I call Minho?"
"He's at work."

"Damn so is Hyunjin. It's ok. I can take of you."
"It's nothing. I'm fine."
"You sure?"

"Yes. Now let me get dressed."

Afterwards, they picked out their clothes then left the building and head to the car. Then the older gets another wave of pain in the middle of the parking lot.

"Ughnnn..arrggg..ouch."
"Ok. I'm taking you to the doctor."
"N-no..I'm fine."

"You have no choice. You're going.", he assists him in the car.

Felix drives off in a slight hurry, speeding a bit.
"Lix, slow down. Why are you rushing?"
"You never know what's gonna happen."

"Nothing is happening."
"You're not giving birth in this car. Now focus on breathing and leave it to me."

Once they reached the hospital Felix holds the older's hand to assist him and they went up to the desk.

"This is an emergency.", Felix told the nurse.

"It's not."
"He's having contractions so we need to see a doctor."

"They're not frequent.", Jisung adds.
"Ah ok. Just fill out the form and I'll call you when they're ready."

The nurse hands Felix a clipboard and pen then the two went to sit down.
"I'm telling you, Lix. It's too soon."

"What's your weight?", he ignores his words.
"The contractions are too far apart."
"I'll just put 79kg."

"You're being too much."
"Sigh. Jisung, even if you are right it's better to be safe than sorry. Let me be a good friend."

"Ok."

Once the form was filled the nurse calls them then leads the two to a room.
"The doctor will be with you shortly.", she takes the clipboard.

Jisung lays on the sanitary bed and sighs. He looks around the room and gets scared about the time that is so close to come. Labor. He holds Felix's hand for comfort, gently squeezing.

The doctor comes in.
"Good afternoon. I'm Dr. Kim."
"Hello."

"I've read over your form, Mr..Han. For one: congratulations. And based on what you've written your labor won't be for another several weeks to a month max."

"Are you sure?"
"I am."

"It's completely normal to experience early contractions but the time is too far apart. So try to rest when you can and limit stress. Other than that you still have some time."

"Thank you, doctor.", Felix said. He glanced at Jisung who was looking worried.
"Only a few weeks."

"You can do it. Don't worry about it too much. You're still in the safe zone."

"Hah~ I don't think I can. Why did I do this, Felix? I'm beyond scared. I don't wanna do this."

"You can and you will. I believe in you. You think I would support you if I knew you couldn't do it? You're strong and brave. You'll get through this alright?"

The older nods.
"Let's go home."
"Wait. Can we get ice cream?"

"Sure. But plain vanilla for you."

At the end of the day Hyunjin picks up Jinhyun and Lily from daycare once he got off. When home they entered the house, Lily being in her appa's arm.

"Hey look who's home.", Felix called down the stairs.
"Mama!", Jinhyun ran to hug him.

"How was your day, my angel?"
"Good. SunSun and me share snacks."
"That sounds nice. How about you, hun?"

"Same as usual. What did you do?"
"Jisung and I went shopping for outfits for the wedding. Plus the minor contractions he had."

"Is he ok?"
"Oh yeah. He still has a couple weeks. I've never seen so scared."

"He can do it right? You were the same."

"Yeah..but it was worth it.", he picks up Jinhyun before sharing a kiss with each one of them. "I love you all."

"I wove you, mama."
"Aww."
"Gummy bear, what about appa?"

"Mmm..yes!"
"Can you say it?"
The little one laughs and hides his face.

"So silly, aren't you? Let's go make dinner.", the blonde says
