Hyunjin x Felix series 2

Day 3: New arrival

9:23am

"Hah~ hah~ Minho, I can't do it. I'm gonna die. Just leave this baby inside me.."
"That's not good for you. You can do this.", Minho holds his hand.

"Nope. Hah~ this stubborn baby wants to stay.."
"Han Jisung. You will deliver this baby. I'm telling you. Do it. You're almost there."

"It's been days! I can't, Minho! I can't!"

The younger was doused in sweat with watery eyes and Minho wipes the tears that would fall. He's been in labor for the past five hours and was ready to give up.

"You're about to see the rainbows, love. They're there and my soup waiting for you on the other side. I promise you."

"A..lot?"
"So much. All the soup you want. Ok?", he wipes Jisung's sweat.
"Hah~ hah~ ok..after this I'm done!"

A minute later baby's cries fills the room and Jisung falls back in exhaustion then Minho wipes the sweat from his face with a cloth again.

"Congratulations. It's a beautiful baby girl.", told the doctor. The baby gets clean and swaddled in a blanket before she gets passed to Minho, already calming down once she's in his arms.

"Look, love. You did it. She's perfect."
"Hah~ it's about damn..time. She's a stubborn baby.."

"You did well.", he kissed his sweaty forehead.

Jisung holds her in his arms and placed his finger in her itty bitty hand. He smiled when she cooed in response. After their moment with her the nurse takes her away to the nursery.

"I'm going to sleep."
"Felix is still out there waiting."
"He is?"

"You wanna see him?"
"No. I know what he looks like. You can tell him he can go home. I'm too tired."

"You did good, Jisung. I love you."

A few days later.

At Minho and Jisung's house Felix holds the newborn in his arms while sitting on the couch and Jinhyun takes a look at her.

"Mama? Why is the baby have no hair?"
"Because she was just born, angel."
"What is her name?"

Felix and Hyunjin look at Jisung and Minho.
"I have decided to go with...Minnie!"
No one was impressed.

"Minnie?", Minho replies.
"Ooh! Like uncle Minnie.", Jinhyun says.
"No, Jinhyun. This is different."

"I don't like it."
"Why not, Minho? It's like your nickname."

"No one has ever called me that and no one will. This is why I wanted to know the gender. I knew you were gonna say some ridiculous name."

"It's not ridiculous. And don't blame me. I wanted to surprise you."

"We're not naming her Minnie."
"Ugh. Then you pick."
"Fine. Hana.", the older said without thought.

"That's..not a bad name.", replied Hyunjin.
"Thank you. Named after the person I will always love the most."

Everyone looks at Jisung.

"M-me?", he asked teary. The older nods with a soft smile and Jisung falls to the floor, on his knees.

"I- I can't believe-", his tears flow down his face. Jinhyun went up and hugged him for comfort.
"Don't cry, uncle."

"Haha they're happy tears, Jinhyun.", Jisung pats his back. "Gasp! You know what this means?"
"What?", Felix asked.

"I can fit into my wedding outfit now. Yes!" He cries again. "Sorry I'm just so emotional for some reason."

Felix hands Hana over to Minho.
"We should go now before it gets too late. Good job, Jisung. You made it through."

"You're right. I had no doubt in my mind. And never gave up.", he spoke proudly.

The room goes silent. They all knew he was on the verge of giving up and wanted to stop but they all let him have this one. So he won't cry again.

"Sure. Come on, Jinhyun. Let's go home.", Hyunjin told and the little one runs after him. They all leave.

"Can you make me some soup, Min?"

"Right now?"
"Yes. I'm craving it and hopefully I can actually keep it down this time."

"Let's both spend time with our daughter instead."
"But she's asleep."

"No she's not. Look."
Hana's eyes were wide open and she smiled at the two of them.

"Aww. Cute. She has big eyes like you. Don't you, Hana my little munchkin?", he gently squishes her cheek making her smile again.

"I have to say that I honestly thought we were having a boy."
"I told you 50-50. Were you surprised?"

"You know what? After all you've been through. Sure."
"Yes! I knew you would be."

They share a kiss. Hana interrupts them by making a small noise.
"Are you hungry, munchkin? Me too. Tell appa to make us some soup."

Minho shakes his but in the end he cooks the soup for him in a smaller amount in case he does throw it up again. But he didn't. He kept it down and was more thrilled than anyone.
