Just a few disclaimers before the story begins :)
- the story is based off the idea that America never entered the selection
- this is purely fan fiction-
- it is written from different perspectives! The characters perspective it follows is always written next to the chapter(Aside from chapter 1- which is in third person but follows America's story)
- while I realise the more likely outcome of America not entering and someone else being picked in regards to the actual storyline would've been someone who got sent home the first day, I wanted to explore it from a different angle and bring someone new who could really stand a chance (rather than making a love story with Kriss and following the books course of events)
- There are a load of parts but they're all short
- I am not following the books canonly, while the events are based off of those in the series due to the change of protagonist the course of events changes (and a lot of things are condensed)
- also I know Spanish princesses that aren't a crown princess are called infanta, but I prefer to use just princess and crown princess because it works better with the story
-This is based off the characters and plot from the selection series, which belong to Keira cass. I altered the plot and added some characters for the purpose of this fan fiction-
