When we parted ways, I felt my head turn back at her, watching her leave. She never turned back for me, but it didn't seem to matter. Watching her made me feel something I'd never felt before.

That whole night, my thoughts were more and more consuming. But did she feel the same way? She didn't intend to fight for me, rather be subject to her fate. Admirable, but frustrating. I'd expected all the girls to fight for me, but now, I'm going to have to fight for her.

Of course, I cannot put my eggs in one basket. I must explore my options, but my heart was set. It was set on her.

I knew there was more to her than meets the eye, and I want to discover the real her.
