time went by in a blink of an eye and it was already late afternoon when jungsu found himself sitting comfortably on the couch with a soft blanket covering his lower body as he stole little glances from jooyeon who was doing something on his phone, seemingly too focused to notice anything around him.
jungsu honestly wondered what was going on in the younger's mind at that certain moment. he could feel something mixed, about what jooyeon felt. it was something upsetting, yet anxious. jungsu could only assume what it could be.
and he had a few questions that suddenly piled up one after another but he didn't want to ask, for the sake of not bothering jooyeon when he seemed to be so concentrated on something.
all he could do was to hope that if there was something bothering jooyeon, he would tell him. because again, the reason he came here was to help him out and he hoped the younger knew that. well, technically jooyeon did not know that it was the main reason jungsu came here but the point was that, jungsu already tried his best to show him that he would be there for him no matter what and he really hoped the younger knew that.
❝i talked to hyeongjun and he said he would come.❞ jooyeon's soft voice broke the silence between the two of them and jungsu could only hum as a response. ❝let's watch something when he comes.❞ he then stood up walking closer to jungsu, grabbing the side of the blanket and pulled it up. ❝and while we wait, let's just be.❞
jooyeon sat down beside jungsu, pulling the blanket so now it was covering both of them. then wrapping his arms around the elder's waist, rested his head on his shoulder, closing his eyes.
he was not going to mention how much time it took him to convince hyeongjun to come and it honestly upset him that the elder didn't want to spend time with him anymore, because of jungsu.
but what mattered now was that he was coming and jooyeon allowed himself to relax for the time being while waiting for hyeongjun.
he really felt like he would fall asleep any moment from now on, that was how comforting jungsu's presence for him was. just them sitting beside each other, cuddled up was already making jooyeon's mind fall at peace.
never in million years he would have been able to tell the reason behind it. what was the power jungsu possessed that made him immediately feel so comfortable around him. though, he was not complaining, he could never.
it was just the moment of him peacefully dozing off to sleep when he heard someone ringing the doorbell. too comfortable in that certain position to even move, ❝it's open!❞ jooyeon hoped it was hyeongjun and he heard what he had called out.
and apparently the one ringing the doorbell did hear because the doorknob twisted open and in just a matter of second hyeongjun walked in.
the newly come boy stopped abruptly at what he saw in the living room, as if something froze him on the spot.
seeing jooyeon lazily bring his hand up and wave as a greeting, hyeongjun didn't know what to feel. what was the exact emotion that bubbled inside of him.
was it jealousy, the fact that he wished to be in jungsu's place right now? but him and jooyeon cuddled all the time. that could not be exactly it.
was it envy? because jooyeon seemed so differently comfortable cuddled up to jungsu. he wished he also had the power to make jooyeon like this. he just seemed too comfortable, maybe it was all in hyeongjun's head now, he didn't know.
maybe he just wanted to blame something on jungsu, have even more reasons to not like him.
before hyeongjun would snap back to his sneses by himself, jooyeon decided to do that for him. as much as he would want to stay in that position, he forced himself to stand up, pushing hyeongjun towards the armchair as he himself went to the kitchen to get some snacks for the three of them.
