a few days after him meeting jooyeon, jungsu found himself in a small local café, just across the flower shop. he had never noticed this place before and the only thing occupying his mind at that moment was how much he had been missing out on.

that café was anything, anyone could have ever asked for. a comforting, cozy place with a pleasant smell of freshly baked pastries and coffee mixing up in the air, both, real and artificial plants placed on the windowsills and on shelves, full of different books ⸺ old and new ones. it was just straight out of a fairytale and even though it was jungsu's first ever time being in this very café, he already felt like not being able to get enough of it. he for sure knew he would be coming back here every week. it was close too, he just had to walk out of the flower shop where he worked and cross the street. that was literally it.

this time though, he wasn't alone. of course, he himself honestly would not even consider coming here, he had never noticed this place ever before anyway. jooyeon suggested going in there. and there they were, sitting opposite of each other, with cups of hot tea placed on the glass table in between them.

it was comforting. something about the atmosphere in the café was so soothing and making jungsu feel warm inside. it at some point had to also be associated with jooyeon, he easily grew fond of him in a span of a few days. it was just simply nice having him around. he enjoyed the younger boy's company a lot.

jungsu felt like he had known the younger since forever, it was weird, he couldn't exactly explain it in any words. there was just a simple weird feeling in his stomach, whenever jooyeon told him something or offered his signature, heart shaped smile. jungsu liked keeping him smiling, for no reason at all.

he knew something as serious as feelings couldn't come so easily to him, when he had just met the boy a few days ago, but it was just something familiar, something warm and home-like when it came to jooyeon. it sounded strange, but jungsu really just decided to shrug it off and not mind anything connected to that for the time being. at least, while he was out here with the younger.

it was late evening now and the two had been sitting here for quite some time now. jooyeon, after finishing his lectures, went to the flower shop and waited for jungsu to finish his shift so the two of them could go somewhere and hang out.

the time the two spent at the flower shop wasn't much, but it brought a little too many memories to jooyeon. bittersweet ones that is. it would be the best thing ever, if jungsu remembered him after coming back, but he didn't. so spending time with him in the flower shop again, made jooyeon feel hurt a little ⸺ in a sense of, he had to make all these sweet memories again with him, start from a blank paper.

but at some point, as long as the elder was here now, literally beside him and supposedly didn't plan on leaving ever, jooyeon would not even dare to complain about it. he kept repeating in his head, reminding himself that he was content with everything happening around him right now.

and it was the truth. mostly. because a small part of him still felt upset, even after a few days, hurt, that he had to say so many things over again. because back then, jungsu did know everything even before jooyeon would mention it ⸺ literally. and now it seemed so.. normal. supposedly, it was a good thing, but jooyeon somehow got used to the fact that jungsu was so easily reading his feelings and giving him immediate help and comfort he needed.
