jooyeon managed to get used to waking up early in the morning. better say, it was jungsu's doing. he got used to it so quickly and pushed jooyeon to do the same obviously. since he didn't want for the younger to get in any trouble for being late at university.

it's already time you throw these away.❞ jungsu's voice broke the small silence between the two of them and jooyeon looked at him with his eyebrows furrowed, shaking his head as a no rather violently.

he took care of the small, precious, yellow flowers like they were the biggest treasure he owned. even now, he had just changed the water in the vase where he had put the flowers. but it had already been a few days, the flowers were starting to wither. nonetheless, jooyeon refused to throw them away. at least not yet.

scooping a few fallen flower petals from the shelf, ❝they are still living happily.❞ jooyeon threw them away in the trash can, plopping down on the couch beside jungsu. ❝i still want to keep them.

just so you know, you can always get more from the flower shop.❞ jungsu let out a small chuckle, brushing the hair that was covering jooyeon's forehead away. ❝now let's go.❞ he then stood up, stretching his hand out for the younger.

it took them just a few moments of sulking and whining, from jooyeon's side, (because he didn't want to go to university and would rather stay home or go to the flower shop with jungsu, do whatever as long as he was with the elder one), and then they both left the flat. walking down the street beside each other.

take care and be safe please.❞ jungsu turned around to face jooyeon before he would walk away.

lips curving up in that adorable smile of his, ❝i will.❞ jooyeon nodded his head, hesitating for a moment whether to give jungsu a hug or not. shaking his head, concluding that it might have been a little weird and too out of pocket, ❝you too.❞ he then flashed him another heart shaped smile of his and continued his way to the bus stop where from he would get to university.

jungsu let out a small sigh, twisting the keys in the door and opening it. the much familiar, yet not so pleasant smell lingered in the whole shop and he scrunched his nose up in a slight discomfort. not minding it much though, he started doing his work quickly so he could spend time outside the flower shop more.

yet, it seemed to be a not so lucky day for him, as his thoughts kept going back to jooyeon and his well being. it was distracting him and adding up to his already clumsy attempts of everything, making it all worse.

technically, he always worried for the younger but before university started, he had him close and could always see and feel everything better. now that they were at different places, jungsu was only relying on his senses of feeling how jooyeon felt at that certain moment, which, obviously, wasn't as strong now that he was on earth and couldn't see or literally feel jooyeon's presence.

everything was much easier from up there, he could watch jooyeon's each step and be sure the younger was always safe. now he had to just rely on his senses and hope that jooyeon was okay at university and nothing bad was going on.

sitting on one of the huge windowsills, hyeongjun had his legs bent slightly, a book resting on his knees gently as he was supposed to be revising but his mind seemed to be floating anywhere and everywhere, doing literally anything but focusing on whatever was written in the book.
