a mess. that had to be the most accurate word to describe what was going on both, in jooyeon's mind and room.

the wardrobe opened and clothes thrown anywhere and everywhere around, starting from the bed, ending with the floor. what on the earth was he supposed to do, he had nothing to wear and it worried him a little too much.

jungsu asked him out on a date. a date. technically it wasn't supposed to be the first one, he shouldn't have been that stressed out about this, because when the elder was here previously, the two did go to two occasions, when they took each other to places. first jungsu took him to those mountains and then jooyeon took him to stargaze.

so, why was this one such a big deal. well, because it was officially a date. the two previous ones weren't. jungsu asked him out and clarified, that this was going to be a date. the words weren't leaving his mind. like, a date. that was exactly what jungsu told him and the urge to throw himself on his bed and scream in a pillow was so big right now, jooyeon was definitely holding himself back from doing that.

that was how big of an impact this whole thing had on him and he could not even help it. his heart beating twice as fast, him running around the house to get all the necessary items from different rooms and just simply panicking. was this good for his health? definitely not. but he was not going to complain about it one bit.

all he needed to do, was to collect himself and actually start getting ready because it was already getting late and jungsu would be here any minute. not too hard, right?

he didn't say where they were going, so jooyeon didn't even know anything about that either. like, what was he supposed to wear, what was jungsu going for. he had no clue and that was just simply adding over his stress and making him even more anxious if possible.

a sound of a doorbell ringing made jooyeon feel like screaming out loud on top of his lungs, because, surprise surprise, he still was not ready. how could he face jungsu, while still being in his pyjamas.

i'm sorry.❞ were the words that greeted jungsu, the moment the door was opened. he stood there, slightly furrowing his eyebrows and trying his very best to figure out why on the earth was jooyeon apologizing. what had he done in the first place to say such thing instead of greeting him properly. however, he didn't get to even ask about it, since jooyeon was quick to explain what was the reason behind it. ❝i still don't know what to wear.

and only when jungsu stepped in jooyeon's house, he noticed that the younger was still in his pyjamas. chuckling at how adorable he looked, ❝wear anything you want, something simple and comfortable.❞ jungsu told him as he shrugged, taking a seat on the couch, while holding back the urge to pull jooyeon in a tight hug.

at that very moment, looking at jooyeon and the way he just stood there, in pyjamas and hair still somehow messy, for whatever reason, a thought ran through jungsu's mind, to just tell the younger that they would not be going anywhere and stay here. they could watch some movies, cuddle and talk. that sounded so perfect too, if you asked jungsu and any other day he would not hesitate to do that.

but, this evening was different. after telling jooyeon that he would take him out and clarifying that it really was going to be a date, jungsu took good few days to plan everything, as it had to be perfect.

sure, he had taken him out once before, but it was different and even though, both times he planned everything so carefully, he still felt way more responsible for this one. and this time, he knew everything would go perfectly and there was really nothing to worry about. he just knew that.
