jungsu's best friend was not lying at all when he said that the boy wasn't being himself anymore and had to go back. and if jungsu himself wasn't so sure before, of how true the other's words were, now he knew for a fact that he spoke the pure truth.

realizing the urgent situation quickly, very early in the morning when he woke up from the terrible pain in his whole body. never before had he ever been this fast to shoot up from bed and run into the bathroom, panting heavily as he placed his hands on the sides of the sink. jungsu leaned a bit forward, taking a good look at himself in the mirror, fighting the urge to throw up.

the numb feeling in his stomach from a few days back grew and spread all across his body, except now he felt like his bones were burning and he was going to explode any minute from now on. it was like something suffocated him, making him unable to breath while also squeezing his whole body in the most painful way possible. with a desire to crush each and every single bone in his body.

something welled up in his stomach and jungsu knew it was just a matter of second before he would throw up now. breathing heavily, trying his best to inhale and let air in his lungs, jungsu shut his eyes tight, letting tears fall down in the sink.

he felt dizzy, his head started to spin and the feeling of weakness in his legs grew, he was so sure his body was giving up on him. jungsu didn't want to worry jooyeon too much, plus it was still so early in the morning, he didn't want to wake him up.

yet, he was left with no other choice but to call out the younger's name. opening his mouth, he wasn't able to utter even a single word, immediately throwing up. he felt disgusting, as if everything not being enough, now his throar started to burn too, leaving horrible taste in his mouth. jungsu felt so sick, he really didn't think he would be able to take that much in anymore. the pain was a little too bad.

j-jooyeon.❞ the boy called out even though he doubted the younger would hear it since he barely managed to let out the sounds, utter jooyeon's name.

well, if that didn't work jungsu really didn't know what to do, since he felt like his head was spinning more and more by each passing second. he was not able to react quickly enough to sit down or call out again and lost his consciousness.

「☄」

you worried me so much.❞ that was the very first thing jungsu heard when his eyes fluttered open. and a worried face of jooyeon was the first thing he saw.  he hated that very expression on the other's face, he hated worrying him.

trying to sit up, ❝i'm fine.❞ jungsu barely managed to let out, failing miserably as the moment he lifted his head up, it started spinning. the pain immediately came back, kicking him in his stomach and crushing his bones.

it felt like a déjà vu, something similar happened already not too long ago when he fainted. both experiences were weird and really unfamiliar, but this second one was more painful. way more painful.

seemed like jooyeon hadn't forgotten about it either, ❝it's already second time, maybe we go and see a doctor?❞ the younger furrowed his eyebrows, sitting on the corner of the bed, looking at jungsu as he brought his hand up to see if the elder had fever. he didn't. he was rather cold and it seemed so unlikely of jungsu that it worried jooyeon. he felt like if the elder was a little too warm, he would be much less worried. he was always used to jungsu being warmer than anyone else, so now he didn't know what to think.

on the other hand, jungsu got so scared, when hearing the word doctor. there was no way he was going to agree to that. just the thought of it purely terrified him. all those thoughts circulated in his mind and he was not liking any of it at all. the doctor would go so crazy, not being able to hear jungsu's heartbeat when checking it, that alone would cause a little too many questions and it wouldn't be anything pleasant jungsu knew for sure.
