jooyeon woke up feeling warm. it was quite a nice feeling he had to admit. turning slightly to the side, he was met with a sight of jungsu being so peacefully asleep beside him, while having his arms still wrapped around him like he had yesterday. jooyeon assumed they had fallen asleep like that.
he took a moment to admire jungsu's beauty. he was seeing him this up close while asleep for the first time ever and he had to admit, the elder was absolutely gorgeous. even when he didn't do anything and just breathed peacefully, sleeping, he was too stunning for jooyeon. the younger felt like being at the loss of words. that was what he always felt towards jungsu actually.
running fingers along jungsu's cheek, jooyeon couldn't help but be at awe at how smooth the elder's skin was, very dimly, almost invisibly now glowing in the still rather dark room. jooyeon couldn't understand how that was possible, it was just simply beautiful.
recalling previous events, the elder's skin didn't glow now how it used to before but that really didn't make him any less beautiful. now thinking about it jooyeon felt like he was exaggerating about it all, but he really wasn't. that was what he really though, how he genuinely saw jungsu.
removing the elder's hand from his waist, jooyeon stood up so slowly, in order to not wake the sleeping one up. walking in the bathroom he took a good look at himself in the mirror, not being able to hold back a small sigh.
tears dried up to his cheeks from last night's cry, his hair all messy and disheveled and more tears staining his shirt. he looked miserable ⸺ perfectly showing how he felt. jungsu's words and comforting embrace helped him, that was for sure, but it somehow still felt hard to believe. hard to grasp the fact that his star wasn't seen up in the sky.
jooyeon leaned a bit forward, placing his hands on the sink and taking a better look at himself in the mirror.
but before his thoughts would drift back to his previous ones from yesterday, a loud thud snapped him back to reality from his pile thoughts and he was so quick to snap his head towards the direction where from he heard the noise. ❝jungsu?❞ he called out, unlocking the bathroom door. silence concerned him more than it should have. he walked in his bedroom with fast steps. ❝jungsu!❞
「☄」
jungsu's eyes fluttered open as he took a moment to look around, trying to figure out where he was and what was going on. he tried sitting up but the moment he lifted his head up, he felt dizzy.
❝don't.❞ he heard jooyeon's voice who just then walked in the bedroom with a cup of water in his hand. placing the cup on a nightstand beside the bed, ❝rest.❞ he told the elder, sitting on the side of bed and taking a good look at jungsu.
letting out a small sigh, ❝what⸺ what happened?❞ jungsu managed to speak up. he felt like something so heavy was thrown on his chest and he couldn't bring himself to let out even the smallest sound. he felt like it became hard to breath.
❝you fainted.❞ jooyeon brought his hand up, placing it gently against the elder's forehead. ❝good thing you aren't too warm anymore, i told you this warmth was something. now you seem to have normal temperature.❞ he moved back with a small smile placed on his lips. ❝rest and then we can do something, if you want.❞ with those words being said, jooyeon stood up and left the room to let jungsu rest.
the moment the younger closed the door behind him, jungsu's hand flew up to be pressed against his forehead. jooyeon wasn't lying when he said jungsu had 'normal' temperature. he indeed was colder than when he arrived here. normal for jooyeon and any other human being, but cold for him. this was not a good information now at all.
