"oh no!"

hyeongjun shot up from bed the moment he heard a loud sound of something crashing somewhere downstairs. already being able to tell who was the reason behind this.

one peaceful morning. just a single normal morning was all he was asking for. but no, of course there was no way he was going to enjoy his morning reading and it had to start with something in the kitchen breaking into pieces.

hyeongjun groaned throwing the book on the bed and walked out of his room with fast steps, running down the stairs to the kitchen.

jiseok!❞ hyeongjun called out, standing in the doorway, taking a good look at the scene unfolding in front of him.

the said boy looked up, letting out a nervous chuckle as he cracked up a rather awkward smile. then shifted his gaze to broken pieces of a plate that were scattered all around him.

pinching his nosebridge, hyeongjun pressed his lips into a thin line, it was fifth time this week. he was so sure he would run out of all dishes in a month if jiseok kept breaking everything back and forth.

who even told him that it was a good idea to let a back then a total stranger stay and live in his house? oh right, it was jooyeon. hyeongjun made a mental note to himself to yell at him later for this. because this guy right here, was causing trouble. intentional or not, that was all he managed to do.

are you hurt?❞ nonetheless, that was always the first question that rolled off hyeongjun's tongue. he couldn't help but worry too. as much as jiseok wrecked his nerves (unintentionally of course) he still couldn't help but worry.

as crazy and unbelievable it sounded, he did feel kind of different. ever since he met jiseok.

hyeongjun was not stupid, he knew exactly what it was all about. actually, maybe he wouldn't be that quick to guess and know if it wasn't for jungsu. the elder boy was so bad at hiding things. the moment hyeongjun called jooyeon that he had met someone and didn't know what to do, the two rushed over to the place where hyeongjun and jiseok were. and the very first thing jungsu did was to throw himself at jiseok, calling out his name and pulling him in a tightest embrace known to mankind with tears welling up in his eyes and then uncontrollably rolling down his cheeks.

the two didn't even try to play it off much, jiseok was too shocked and happy too, to realize what his and jungsu's actions could have led to. he was just too happy to finally meet his best friend again. he hugged him back so tightly, as if he didn't want to let go of him ever. they had spent a little too much time apart from each other and he would love to put that to an end.

they didn't mention anything, how they knew each other, where from, or such. but hyeongjun was rather quick to connect the dots. and even though he didn't say anything to jiseok, he knew. and he was sure with the powers the elder possessed, he knew too.

none of them had ever dared to start a conversation about it ever. it had been how long now, a month, maybe two, since they met and were living together for the time being and jiseok really seemed to be trying his very best to act normal, which, he failed to do and hyeongjun had to admit, he found it absolutely adorable.

as much as he wanted to think that this whole thing was crazy, hyeongjun surprisingly only after a few days already found himself being comfortable around jiseok. he was usually annoyed and irritated by his clumsy actions and attempts ⸺ pretended to be, but deep down he himself knew that he was getting more and more fond of the elder as the time passed by.

i am.❞ jiseok nodded slightly, feeling ashamed at how clumsy he was. this human world really worked so differently, a little too differently from how it was all up in the sky and jiseok was having such a hard time adapting. it was temporary for him, at least he was sure now, but he still felt like he would not be able to ever get used to it. he already at some point could not wait to go back. this human world was a little too complicated for him.
