"Wake up my loves, it's time to get ready for your first day of school." I spoke gently as I tried to stir the twins awake, giving them a little shake of their shoulders. It was 6:30a.m. and the kids were not used to waking up this early in the morning but they were gonna have to because today is their first day of Kindergarten. It was a very emotional week for me because of how much they've grown but today isn't about me so I tried my best to focus on the kids. I shook the two again but got no response from Bellamy.

"Mmm." Bay whined as she tried to cuddle closer to her sister Bellamy. Bellamy didn't like that very much and turned over completely, making me chuckle at the two. I moved the comforter down and picked up Bay first.

"I don't want to get up, mommy." Bay groaned as she stuffed her head in my neck. I rubbed her back as we walked into their shared bathroom.

"I know princess but it's time to get ready for Kindergarten. Remember about the talk we had yesterday about school. You get to learn and make friends and play with Bell. Aren't you excited?" I spoke with animation so Bay could start getting excited for the day. As soon as Bay heard me say friends and heard the excitement in my voice, she jumped out of my arms and grabbed her toothbrush, ready to start the day. 'That was easy.' I thought to myself. Now the other one might be the challenge of the day.

"I need to hurry mamá! I want to make lots of friends!" Bay shouted eagerly as she brushed her tongue with vigor.

"You will baby and you don't need to hurry, we have plenty of time to get ready for school okay?" I voiced with a small chuckle as I gave her head a kiss. Bay nodded her head as she grabbed a washcloth to wash her face. I taught my girls to be very independent so they know what to do every morning in order to take care of their basic hygiene. It's not much considering they're still kids but it's enough; brush their teeth, wash their face, go potty, and lastly wash their hands.

As I walked out their bathroom, I made my way to Bellamy who was still peacefully sleeping in her bed. The girls each have their own bed and they usually fall asleep in their own bed but somehow and somewhere throughout the night one of them move to the others bed. I always come in their room and both are either on Bellamy's bed or Bays bed. I guess sleeping together just gives them more comfort than sleeping on their own in their own bed. 'Maybe I should consider buying one big bed for them.' I pondered. Anyways, I quickly got to waking up my other princess and softly shook her.

"Bellamy. Bellamy. Bell. Bella. Wake up." I spoke. She was not having it so I shook her with a bit more force. "Princess, you gotta wake up." I repeated.

Bellamy grumbled as she rolled on her back and started rubbing her eyes. I softly moved her hands because I didn't want her to hurt herself. This girl could sleep for hours if she could. She was definitely not a morning person compared to her sister, Bay. I brought the comforter down once again and picked up my little girl. Bellamy immediately laid her head in the crook of my neck just like her sister. I loved a good cuddle.
