         I don't like the apartment.

I want to go home to our old house but mamá said it's not home anymore. She said the apartment is our new home for now but I don't want it to be. It doesn't have all my stuff. Like my animal books about the safari, and the ocean, and the forest.

I miss my room with Bay and my quiet space with all my blocks and toys.

"I miss papá." Bay said sadly as she picked up the purple and green crayon and scribbled all over the coloring page. Bay never colors the right way but I don't try to correct her because I know it will make her sad so I just stay quiet.

We were in the living room on the floor, coloring in our coloring books. Bay had a Barbie coloring book and I have an animal coloring book. I like all animals except for octopuses, they're creepy. I read in my book that they have three hearts, blue blood like aliens and they have the ability to squeeze into small spaces just to hide and wait for an opportunity to kill their prey. I also learned that their tentacles are basically their tongues that allow them to feel and taste which is really creepy. Tongues on your legs? How gross. Mommy told me some people eat octopuses and I really hope she's lying but mommy never lies so that could only make it true which is honestly disappointing.

"Do you miss papá?" My sister asked me, interrupting my train of thought as I picked up the brown crayon and colored inside the lines. I think I missed papá but I'm not sure if I miss him as much as Bay does so I just nodded my head in response.

"Bellamy! Bay! Lunch is ready!" I heard mamá shout.

My sister quickly dropped her crayons and ran to the kitchen. I wasn't finished with my picture yet so I stayed and colored. I like coloring especially if they're animals. My favorite animals are wolves, dogs, and orangutans.

"Bella lunch is ready." I heard mamá say again, except she was much closer this time. I looked up and saw her staring at me which made me a little uncomfortable so I just looked at her shirt instead.

Rather than talking, I just pointed to my picture.

"You want to finish coloring your picture?" She guessed.

I nodded my head.

"Alright you have five minutes and then you have to eat lunch, Bella." She told me before she kissed my forehead and left to go back to the kitchen with Bay. I touched my forehead where she kissed me and smiled happily. I like when mamá kisses my forehead. It makes me feel good inside like when I watch a mommy gorilla kiss the baby gorilla on tv. Sometimes I don't like to be touched because it feels like lots of spiders crawling on me but not mamá, mamá always feels like a cuddly bear that is warm and nice. Not the bears in the woods though, those ones are wild bears. They could hurt you. I also like when Bay hugs me even though I don't hug back all the time.
