I've never seen Gio cry before and last night was a first for us both. We had our first date and unexpectedly our first cry together, we even had our first kiss a couple of days ago. A lot of firsts were happening and I couldn't help but beam at how our relationship is going. Even though it seems a bit fast, it feels right to me.

Last night after dinner was a surprise, I would have never thought Gio had been through so much. I was genuinely heartbroken for him and everything he had to go through. No one deserves to ever experience what he had to. I learned last night that Giovanni was a man who'd you think should be broken by how much he has had to endure throughout his life and yet he is still standing and strong at that. He's honestly a walking testimony and I'm very happy that he's in not only my life but Bellamy and Bay's as well.

Today's the day that my daughters get to meet a part of their extended family and I couldn't be happier for them. Although I'm a bit nervous, considering the fact that I'm now Gio's girlfriend and might be introduced as such to his mother. I mean the girls don't even know I'm seeing Gio yet so it's all up in the air right now. I wouldn't even know how I'd explain it to them, though time will tell.

Gio dropped me off at home around twelve last night so I was a bit tired this morning but I'm also not a morning person either so that doesn't help. Before noon, I woke up with two little girls in my bed, one on each side of me. Before I could recollect anything around me, there was a gentle knock on my door.

Knock Knock Knock

"Come in." I groggily whispered as I didn't want to wake the girls. I rubbed the gunk out of my eyes and stretched my arms out as my lovely mother peeked her head through the door.

"Hey baby, how was the date?" She asked quietly as took a seat on the corner of my bed.

"It was really good." I smiled. "I really like him, ma. He's a very honest man." I added as my cheeks blushed.

My mom smiled at the visible happiness shown on my face, her beautiful natural curls out in a fro and her baby hair laid in the front. "I'm glad you found someone, it's been a while for you. I was getting worried but it seems as if God had plans for you to wait and be with the twins' father." She chuckled as I joined in, nodding my head at the coincidence.

"You know how hard it is to find someone in this country." I shook my head at her other comment.

"Your right about that." She sighed in accord. "What's your plans for today?" She asked curiously.

"Gio's sister, Valentina, planned a beach day and their mother invited us so the girls could meet everyone." I smiled.

"That should be fun. Bella loves the sand and Bay loves the water." My mom added knowingly as I nodded my head in agreement.

"Yeah it should be fun, I'm not too worried about it. Beach days are usually pretty easygoing." I said.

"That's good. Well I'll make you all breakfast and then I'll be heading off. I have some errands to run before I head home." She announced before she got up to leave my bedroom but not before kissing mine and the girls' foreheads. I love my mom.
