The alarm rang letting Jordan and Gio know that it was seven in the morning also meaning it was time to get up. Giovanni groaned as he held Jordan tighter against his chest while also simultaneously turning the alarm off. Jordan wasn't necessarily happy about getting up this early, as mornings have still been a struggle for her between the nausea and the tiredness—she could never catch a break. This baby was definitely testing her strength.
Gio gently rubbed Jordan's stomach in circular motions as he's done every night since he found out that the one baby was still alive and thriving in Jordans tummy.
"Baby....." Gio whispered as he attempted to shake Jordan awake. "J....it's time to wake up." Gio hummed out while leaving a few kisses on the back of her neck as she was still half asleep.
"What?" Jordan grumbled out with a hint of annoyance in her tone.
"Our daughters are turning six today." He stated with a big smile on his face. Today is an important day and not just for the twins but Gio too. This is Bellamy and Bay's first birthday that he's ever been present for and he's been nothing but excited for this day as he dreamt of it each year he was absent in their lives. As soon as Jordan came to the realization that it was their daughter's big day today, she couldn't help the smile that began to creep across her face.
"They're getting so big so fast." Jordan reminisced bittersweetly as a tear unwillingly fell down her cheek.
Gio was quick to wipe it and replace it with a kiss before he simply agreed. "Let's get dressed so we can have the house decorated and breakfast ready before they wake." He suggested.
"Okay, what time is your family coming over again?" Jordan asked as she got up and stretched her arms and legs.
"Around noon." Gio answered as he excitedly got out of the bed and headed to the bathroom with Jordan not too far behind. Once they showered and got ready for the day Jordan wore a modern safari/jungle themed outfit while Gio put on a simple Ken type of outfit.
