Whenever I see you storming out of class,
or walking back and forth
with your phone glued to your ear,
a thought passes my mind,
"I hope she isn't causing you much trouble."

Whenever I see you rushing around
with the phone glued to your ear
while I sit by myself during lunch,
a thought passes my mind,
"Have you eaten?"

As my eyes look at you with concern,
you catch me gazing at you,
and narrow your eyes at me.
And I feel like my heart is sinking.

But what do I do?
Even after all that has happened,
I still care.
I still fuckin care about you.
Because even though you chose her,
I was still your friend.
