"You know, I sometimes don't understand why you love him so much," someone said.
"Why not?"
He's seen me sad,
And he's made me happy.
He's seen me angry,
And he's calmed me down.
He's been through my lows,
And celebrated my ups. He's seen me eating ice cream and has wiped the corners of my mouth,
He's also seen my wild curls.
He's seen me sleep deprived,
And his shoulder has been my favorite bed.
Cause he would hold me down on a moving bus.
And stabilize my neck such that I don't move at all. He's seen me in his hoodie,
He's seen me in my brother's shorts,
He's watched me dancing to a random song,
And he's heard me singing my lungs out in my croaky voice.Yet he's never seen me with lust.
He's always been there, holding my hand,
Telling me, "I'm right here,"
All while looking at me with the same love that I look at him.
