lost in the storm

The sunny sky has turned to gray,
My eyes now thunderclouds that rumble with sadness,
Since the day you sailed away,
Leaving me adrift like a lighthouse without its guiding light.

It's been eight months since you departed,
And loneliness envelops me inexplicably,
I used to soar on cloud nine,
When your love was mine.

But now we've fallen, lost in the storm,
And I'm tangled in memories that flash like lightning,
Maybe I overlooked the signs,
But we fought hard against the tide.

I try not to cry, but I ache for you,
Because without you, I'm a shipwrecked soul.
