(We cut the 6 children pretending they're in a dessert and a rainforest, they're all dressed in explorer outfits)
Double D: It looks like stonestep hill
is right between The jungle and the desert.
Kylie: And to get there, you can either take the jungle path or the desert path.
Nat: Yeah, but what's that?
Eddy: And what's that?
Double D: I don't know. Maybe they're obstacles.
Edna: But one thing's for sure, to find the flying gem, we have to go through either the desert or the jungle.
Nat: Okay.
Kylie: Let's go through the jungle with all the pretty trees and long vines.
Ed: No, no, no. The desert would be better.
Eddy: Where it's dry and sandy? Ed you trying to give us a heat stroke?!
Double D: Looks to me like the desert would be faster.
Eddy: Ugh...
Nat: Hmm... No, I think the jungle
would be faster.
Ed: I don't like jungles. I'm scared of the mean ol' animals that eat people!
Nat: Well, I don't like deserts!
Double D: Well, I think the desert is the right way to go.
Eddy: (rethinks what he said about the desert) Yeah I'm gonna have to agree with Double D.
Kylie: Nuh-uh, the jungle is the right way to go!
The Eds: The desert!
The Girls: The jungle!
Kylie: Hmm... I know what to do. Why don't you guys
take the desert path and me, Nat and Edna will take
the jungle path? We'll just split the map in half.
Kylie: (tears the map in half and give one half to Double D) You take the desert half and we'll take
the jungle half... And we'll see who gets to stonestep hill first and finds the flying gem...And says the words...And makes the flying gem fly!
Kylie, Edna and Nat: It's a race! (All three giggle, ready to go)
Girls: ♪ questing, questing, questing, ♪ Never resting!
Boys: ♪ Questing, questing, questing, ♪ Racing to the gem!
Girls: Ready...
Boys: Set...
Eddy, Double D, Kylie, Nat Edna: Go!
Ed: Gravy!
(The 2 groups head out separately on their quest)
Girls: ♪ We're jungle questers, ♪ Fast and swift, ♪ When it comes to racing ♪ We have a gift. ♪ As long as we follow our ancient map, ♪ We'll reach stonestep hill
in a snap! ♪ Questing, questing, questing, ♪ Never resting!
Boys: ♪ Questing, questing, questing, ♪ Racing to the gem! ♪ We're desert questers, ♪ Quick and smart, ♪ When it comes to racing ♪ ♪ We've got the art. ♪ As long as we follow our ancient map, ♪ ♪ We'll reach stonestep hill like a zap! ♪
(The song ends as we cut to Kylie, Nat and Edna in the jungle)
Nat: Hey girls, what do you think this is?
Edna: I dunno but they're green.
Kylie: I doubt it be something like vines.
Edna: Pfft, yeah. Can you imagine that? (She and the other two girls laugh) But I think it might be an obstacle.
Kylie: You mean something that can get in our way?
Edna: Yup.
Kylie: Well, I guess we'll see when we get there.
Nat: Let's go!
Girls:
♪ Questing, questing, questing, ♪ Never resting!
Boys:
♪ Questing, questing, questing, ♪ Racing to the gem!
Eddy: Hey guys, what do you think that is?
Double D: Hmm.
Ed: Um... Cotton balls?
Double D: Why would anyone put cotton balls on a map? Maybe it's an obstacle.
Eddy: I guess we'll see when we get there.
Boys: ♪ We're desert questers ♪ With no fears, ♪ But we do have sand behind our ears. ♪
Girls: ♪ We're jungle questers, our courage shows ♪ ♪ And so does the mud between our toes. ♪
All: To the gem! To the Gem!
Girls: ♪ Questing, questing, questing, ♪ ♪ Never resting!
Boys: ♪ Questing, questing, questing, ♪ ♪ Racing to the Gem!
[The Girls giggle until their bodies get trapped, hanging by vines]
Girls: Whoa!
Kylie: Edna remember when you mention you couldn't imagine vines as an obstacle?
Edna: Yeah... never thought it would lead to this.
Nat: C'mon! Well, let's be thankful these vines don't have thorns.
Kylie: Ugh! We're all tangled up and we can't get out.
Edna: These vines are really tangley.
Nat: Oh, for goodness sakes. What do we do now?
Kylie: [Giggles] I don't know.
Nat and Edna: (look confused at Kylie about her giggling just now)
Kylie: But have you noticed, these vines are...[Giggles] ticklish to me?
Nat and Edna: (start to feel the tickling of the vines)
Nat: [Giggles]
Edna: [Giggles] We see what you mean! Extremely ticklish!
[The three girls all giggle]
Edna: Huh? Hey Nat, Kylie! I just figured out how we're going to get out of here.
Nat: [Giggles] How?
Edna: Shake! Shake your whole bodies!
(The three girls begin to sing)
Girls: ♪ Shake, shake, shake, ♪ Shake your body, shake it ♪ ♪ Shake, shake, shake, ♪ Shake your body down ♪ Shake, shake, shake, ♪ Shake your body, shake it ♪ ♪ Shake, shake, shake, ♪ Shake it to the ground!
Nat: It worked!

(The three girls get free from the vines and land safely on their feet)
Nat: We just shook ourselves out of a big mess!
Kylie: But we've got to get moving If we wanna beat those Eds to stonestep hill!
Edna: And the flying gem!
Girls: ♪ We're questing through the jungle, ♪ ♪ Those vines were fierce and fungal ♪ ♪ But we got out of that bungle ♪ ♪ and now we're moving, ♪ Moving on... ♪ Shake it, shake it, shake it, ♪ ♪ Wiggle it,
wobble it, quake it, ♪ ♪ We're out of those vines and gone! ♪
