[Katie is having a bath by Kylie, Kylie has a towel wrapped around Katie's body and the top of her head.]
Kylie: Awwww it's okay Katie. (Puts Katie down to sit) stay there I'm going to get your pajamas.
Katie: (Kylie helps her put on her pajamas and takes her to bed. Kylie kisses her on her forehead and Katie looks out the window at the white pigeons flying by in the sunset) There they go again, Ramona. [sighs] I suppose I'll never join them in the sky. I'll be stuck on the ground, sentenced to a flightless life. Oh well. I guess all dreams aren't meant to come true. Tomorrow I'll be back to reality. (She looks at Ramona and Ramona as always stays silent as she's a doll) No, Ramona, my dreams are silly. (Katie falls asleep)
[The next day, unbeknownst to Katie she wakes up with a beautiful set of wings behind her back. They are pink and purple with a heart pattern]

Katie: (Wakes up, rubs her eyes and goes to the phone that's ringing) Hello? No, this isn't the Bird Girl of Peach Creek. What? No, I certainly do not live in a birdcage. Who is this? Joe Mama? Well, listen up, Joe. I hate to break it to you, but flying is impossible. [Katie's wings start moving and make Katie float upward and hit the ceiling] I have to go now. My head just hit the ceiling. [She then realizes she's flying and notices her adorable new pair of wings] Huh? Hey! Look, Ramona! [She flies around a bit] I... I think I'm flying! Cute little pigeons, here I come! [She flies out of her bedroom window]
Jimmy: [points] Sarah, look! It's the flying girl!
Sarah: Wow, I hate to admit it but... I guess she wasn't a lunatic after all.
Katie: [flying over the town] ♪I'm flying. I'm flying!♪
Katie: They laughed, they scoffed, before I had liftoff.♪
Peach Creek Residents: ♪But now she's flying.♪ [Katie passes over them] ♪She's flying high in the sky.♪
Katie: ♪I'd love to hang around to say I told you so.♪ [takes off] ♪But it's off to the cute and beautiful pigeons I go!♪ ♪Roads and streets are not for me.♪
