(The episode opens with Kylie reading a book, outside her front yard)

Kylie: "The gem
of stonestep hill." This is going
to be good. I never heard Of "the gem
of stonestep hill" This book
is all about it. Oooh! (She looks a picture of the gem on top of a pyramid-like hill) There's the gem. And it looks like that's stonestep hill. Hmm...Let's see.

(Ed, Double D, Eddy, Nat and Edna show up to Kylie's front yard and see her)

Eddy: Hi Eddy.

Kylie: Hey Eddy, hey Double D, hey Ed, and hello girls!

Nat and Edna: Hi!

Double D: Kylie, whatt are you reading?

Kylie:
"the gem of stonestep hill."

Eddy: Gem?! That looks good.

Kylie: Yeah it does, Eddy. Do you all want to hear it?

Ed: Yes please, read it to us.

Kylie: Okay. (She begins reading) "Once upon a time,
long ago, There was a magic
flying gem!"

Edna: Wow!

Double D: A flying gem!

Nat: That's amazing!

Kylie: "To keep the gem safe, People put it high
on the top of a big hill, called stonestep hill. Stonestep hill is far, far away... At the end of a long journey with many obstacles."

Double D: Obstacles?

Edna: Yeah, you know, Things that
get in your way.

Ed: Then why didn't
they just say "Things that
get in your way"?

Eddy: Shhh! Go on, toots.

Kylie: "if you can find
stonestep hill and climb all the way
to the top, then you will find
the flying gem."

Nat: Cool!

Edna: The only thing you have
to do is find the hill.

Kylie: That's not the only thing. "To make the gem fly
you must say these words: Float, flutter, fly." "Float, flutter, fly. "Oh gem, oh gem
on hilltop high Float, flutter, fly!" (She begins to sing)♪ Float, flutter, fly♪ Float, flutter, fly♪ Oh gem, oh gem
on hilltop high ♪ ♪ Float, flutter, fly! ♪ (she stops singing) And then the gem will fly and you will fly, too!

Ed: We'll fly? Wow!

Double D: I'd love to find that gem!

Eddy: Me, too!

Nat: Yeah, but we don't know how to find stonestep hill. We need a map and we don't have one.

Ed and Eddy: Aw...

Kylie: [sigh] I guess I'll put
this back inside.

Nat: (notices something in the book) Hey, what's that?

Kylie: I don't know.

(They see it's a map)

Kylie: It's a map!

Double D: An old, mysterious map! Certainly convenient.

Nat: And look! That looks like stonestep hill!

Eddy: You guys, this map will lead us to stonestep hill. And the flying gem!

All: [cheers] yeah! Awesome!

Kylie: C'mon, let's go on a quest
to find the flying gem!

(The five kids begin to sing)

Kylie: ♪ We'll find the flying gem ♪

Eddy: ♪ When we're on our quest, We'll never stop
to rest till ♪

All: ♪ We find the flying gem♪

Nat: ♪ Up on top of stonestep hill! ♪ We'll make the gem take flight ♪

♪ When we say the spell ♪

Ed: Spell!

Edna: ♪ We will laugh and yell ♪

Nat and Double D: Yell!

Kylie: ♪ We'll watch it
fly all night ♪ When we say
the spell like this... ♪

All:
♪ float, flutter, fly

♪ Float, flutter, fly

♪ Oh gem, oh gem on hilltop high ♪

♪ Float, flutter, fly

Edna: ♪ We're such a questing team ♪

Nat: ♪ None of us are slowpokes ♪

Eddy:♪ And we tell
the best jokes ♪

Kylie: ♪ We've got
a questing dream ♪

All: ♪ On the way
to stonestep hill! ♪

Eddy: So how do we get there?

Kylie: Let's check the old, mysterious map.
