" It could have been anywhere, anywhere but here, for crying out loud you're a student of music, what are you doing in a company that makes cars? How does that relate to music in any way?" Eddy asked.

" I asked the same question," I said with a sigh.

" Did you talk to the person in charge, maybe they can send you somewhere else?" He asked.

" It was the Dean, I asked him and he said some shit about how other students would have loved to go there,"

" I fucking hate this shit, I don't want you there,"

" Neither do I want to be there, believe me, Eddy the last thing I want is to do my internship in Vincenzo's Group of Companies, I swear I hate this more than you do,"

" What are we going to do because it doesn't seem like we have a choice right now,"

"It's even worse I'm going straight to the headquarters," I said and suddenly I felt like crying, being there meant there was no way I could escape him. I haven't seen him in over a year and I have been okay, I didn't want to run into him. I didn't want to see him.

Eddy looked like he wanted to take me and run away to a far-off country where it would be just us.

" You know there's nothing for you to worry about," I said as I drew closer to him.

" I know that, it's just the fact that you'd be running into him a lot, that doesn't sit well with me, he's the owner of that company and that can't be avoided," Eddy said with a groan.

" I think I'll have to go there tomorrow to see if they can maybe reject me and send me to another company,"

" Do you think that would work?"

" I'm hoping it will," I said

" This is so fucking annoying, let's forget about that for now, I made dinner," I didn't have the appetite to eat but because he made the food I didn't have the choice but to follow him to the dining table.

Dinner was quiet as we both seemed lost in our own thoughts. After dinner, we showered together and for the first time Eddy wasn't all that naughty with me, it was an indication that this was bothering him more than he was letting it show.

He had always felt like he was competing for my attention with that man I didn't want to mention his name and I had to spend months telling him every day that I was his.

I went to bed in his arms with the thought that tomorrow I could find a solution to my problem.

I woke up early in the morning as I got dressed, I wore blue jeans, a baby pink top, and white sneakers and then I took one of my favorite bags, a white bag Eddy got for me.

" Good morning, my name is Katherine Westbrook, I was posted here by my school for my internship, I'd like to speak to the person in charge of interns," I said to the receptionist as I showed her my letter, and she quickly scanned through it.

" One second," She said as she picked up the telephone to briefly speak to someone and I just patiently stood there watching her.

I took the time to look around and there was no doubt that it was a nice place, the problem was just who owned the company. I could see some expensive cars parked inside the building, some were kept up and I wondered how they got them up there.

" Okay, so you go to the tenth floor, the second office by your left you'll see the intern supervisor,"

" Alright thank you," She gave me a smile before going back to what she was doing.

I entered the elevator and punched in the floor number she told me as I patiently waited to reach the floor.

There was only one thought in my mind, please let me not run into him.

I reached the tenth floor and I walked to the office I was directed to. I knocked on the door and a female voice told me to enter.

" Good morning ma'am," I greeted as she beckoned me over to take a seat.

" How may I help you?" She asked.

" My name is Katherine Westbrook, I was sent by my school here for internship, but I need your help with something,"

" What is that?" She asked, I brought out the letter and showed her.

" I want your company to reject me and send me to another company, this company doesn't have anything to do with my course, I'm a student of music," I said and she looked at me like she was scanning my face for something before she pushed the letter back to me.

" I'm sorry but we can't do that,"
