Chapter 88- Blocked

It turns out there were two cameras in my house, one at the entrance and one hidden in the sitting room. Now the question was who planted them there.

I couldn't wait even a second. I took Katherine's things and put them in her bag as I took them downstairs to the car.

“ Where are you guys going?" Anna asked.

“ Katherine has an appointment with her therapist to help her walk better, she'll be gone for days," I said.

I trust my sister, what I don't trust is her mouth, she might end up telling someone where we are without even knowing.

“ Oh, that's good, so she could go back to using her legs," She said and I nodded.

I went back inside and carried Katherine as I walked downstairs then out of the house.

I already contacted Matteo to hire security guards that would watch over her for me.

“ I hope you recover soon and this therapy helps you," Anna said as she opened the the car door and I sat Katherine on the passenger's seat.

Katherine turned to look at me, I know she was wondering what therapy Anna was talking about but I just wink at her and she got the gist.

“ Thank you, hopefully I'll be back on my feet before I returned,”. she said.

I closed the car door and turned over to the driver's seat as I got into the car.

I started the car and drove out of the mansion. Where we were going was about an hours drive from here.

When we got to our location the gate opened and I drove in, stoping in front of the house.

There wasn't much difference between this place and my other mansion, the only difference was that this place was secluded hidden by trees and now heavily guarded. I made sure of that, I couldn't risk anything.

I took Katherine in my arms and walked into the house as I kept her on the couch.

“ You're safe here, It would be hard for anyone to enter here, I'm sure of that,"

“ You didn't tell Anna you were bringing me here?" She asked.

" I know….” I said with a sigh.

" The last thing I want is for her to accidentally spew where we are to someone, so it's best she doesn't know,” I said.

" Okay, it's better that way,” She said and for minute she just looked at me without saying a word.

" Have I ever told you how handsome you are?”

" Well, if you say it now, I don't mind,” I said and she chuckled.

" You're handsome Mr. Luca Vincenzo,”

" Gosh, stop making a grown ass man like me blush,” I said and she laughed before wrapping her arms around me.

" I can't wait for my leg to heal, I want to go places with you,” She said and I felt my heart skip a beat.

“ And I'll be here by your side, at all times," I brought my lips to kiss her but just then my phone started ringing. I ignored it but it won't stop ringing.

I picked it up and it was my manager.

“ Anita what is it?” I asked.

" Sir we're waiting for you,” She said.

" For what?” I asked.

" Did you forget we fixed the car show for today,”

" Oh shit, I forgot, I'll be there shortly,” I said before ending the call.

" The car show? I wish I could be there, I've never attended one,” She said.

" Don't worry there will be more in the future,” I said as I kissed her head and got up.

" Don't forget to call me if you need anything," I said and she nodded before I walked out of the house.

I got into my car driving off to the location of the car show, Katherine would have been the person who planned this event but because of the circumstances my manager Anita had to plan it.

I stopped at a red light as I waited for the countdown to finish so I could drive.

The green light finally came on but just as I was about to drive I was blocked.
