“ Why won't they speak? They have to speak! They have to say who asked them to kidnap her! Is everyone going crazy?! What is…”

" Katherine! Calm down! Now!” Luca said and I immediately shut up as my chest heaved.

Why wouldn't they say where they took her to? How could it be possible that they were able to take her out of prison without any of the security's notice? Unless there's someone there that's working with them.

My head is going to explode with so many possibilities that are ringing in my head.

The officer had shown me a footage of Debbie's inmate attacking her and then they dragged her somewhere that was all according to him, how? Just how could they leave their cell? The whole system was filled with false people.

There was no one who spoke the truth anymore. And it was pissing me off.

“You have to calm down, okay my love? You're not going to solve any problem by getting angry, so just calm down,” Luca said and I closed my eyes trying to stop the tears threatening to fall from my eyes.

We left the police station with me feeling angrier than when I entered.

“ I think you should go see your Dad, he must really miss you that's why he wants to see you,” I said to Luca as he turned to look at me before turning his eyes back to the road.

" You need me right now and I want to be with you,” He said as he took my hand to his lips and dropped a kiss.

" Don't you ever think of me as bad luck sometimes?” I asked.

“ Never, you're my lucky charm, you're the light in my life and I don't want a life where you're not there so I'll be with you in good and bad just know that you can never get rid of me,” He said and I couldn't help but chuckle.

" I don't plan to get rid of you,” I said as I brought his free hand to my cheek.

“ Can you drop me off at the park, please,” I said and Luca turned to me with disapproval.

" I don't think it's a good idea for you to be out now, remember the park was where you got taken the last time,” he said.

" I just wanna clear my mind and besides it's day time nobody is going to come snatch me with people in the park, I'll be fine,” I said. He looked like he was about to argue but stopped himself.

“ Thank you," I whispered as he took a turn driving to the park.

He stopped the car and I came down as his eyes also followed my movement.

“ Don't worry I can walk, stop worrying about me, go see your dad,” I said as I closed the car door and waved at him telling him to go.

" Call me if you need anything,” He said before he started the car and drove off.

I just needed peace.

I walked to the park and I could see some people there. The park was one of my favorite places until that night tainted it, but here I am after a long time. I sat on a bench and just enjoyed the breeze.

I felt at peace as the breeze blew through my skin. My peace was disturbed by the ringing of my phone.

Luca can be annoying, I told him I'll be fine. I thought to myself but as I picked up my phone, it wasn't Luca.

I didn't like the idea of her being there so I called her bodyguards and told them her location then I told them to watch her from afar and let me know of everything that's happening.

I drove into the mansion and parked my car as I opened the car door and walked out.

I walked to the wing my father was staying in and there he was in the sitting room talking to Anna as he laughed over something Anna was telling him.

I missed him.

“ Dad," I called to get their attention.

" Mio figlio.” He said as he stood up and walked to me then his arms went around me in a manly hug.

“ I missed you Dad," I said as I pulled away to look at his smiling face.

“ I'm sorry I couldn't make it for breakfast,” I said as we walked to the couch.

" It's okay, Annabelle told me that something came up and you had to take care of it, is everything alright now?” He asked and I nodded.

“ Everything is fine now, you don't look bad Papa, you're still a fine young man," I said and he laughed as Anna chuckled.

“ Annabelle," He called as Anna looked at him.

“ Can you excuse us for a moment, I need to talk about something with your brother," He said and Anna nodded as she walked out of the sitting room and it was now left with me and my Dad.

“ When are you getting married, son?" He asked, going straight to the point. I should have known he was going to bring this up.

" Soon Dad,”. I said but he looked disappointed with this ‘soon’.

" You've said that a thousand times, I'm tired of hearing it,” Well, that was before, I mean it this time I just need everything to be alright and then at the right time I'll propose.

" Just give me time Dad, I won't disappoint you this time,” I said.

" I don't believe you, you'd have to do more than just talking for me to believe you,”
