What the fuck was that? Why would they bring me here when it was all a false alarm. What do they take me for?

And when I asked the security why they would send me a message saying the office was on fire, when it was not they said they didn't.

Who the fuck was messing with me?

I got into my car in anger knowing that back home Katherine would still be worried sick thinking where I had gone off in such a worry.

I started the car and drove off heading back home.

It was a cold night and the breeze carried a type of feeling I couldn't point out. It wasn't a good feeling but I think it had something to do with the stupid stunt that was pulled tonight.

I reached the mansion and the gate was opened as I drove in.

As soon as I parked the car I was met with Frederick standing outside the house.

As I stepped out he looked at the door like he was expecting someone to step out too.

“ Is there something you want, Frederick?" I asked.

" Ma'am Katherine isn't with you?” He asked.

" What type of question is that? Did I not ask you not to let her out of this house?!" I asked and he looked down in shame.

“ I told her not to leave but she insisted that she needed to see you, that it was an emergency and when I tried to stop her she pulled a fast one at me and I thought she was going to you,” He said. If not for the situation I would have laughed, Katherine pulling a fast one on a bulky man like him, it was hilarious.

“ If anything were to happen to her I swear I'll hold you responsible," I said as I brought out my phone to see several calls from her.

Fuck, why didn't I hear my phone ringing? I quickly dialed her number and it rang but she didn't pick it up. Where the fuck was she?

I was about to call again when my phone started ringing with a familiar number.

Why was she calling me this late?

*****

“ Give me that!" She said as she collected my phone then she threw the phone on the floor and a gunshot followed.

“ Why? Why are you doing this? He's going to be so disappointed, he trusted you," I said and she just watched me like I was speaking a foreign language.

“ Don't fucking preach to me about trust, I don't care, move, let's take the party upstairs," She said as she pointed the gun at me and I swallowed but I had to follow her order as I started climbing up. It was painful going up.

We reached the rooftop of the building and I was surprised at who I saw.

“ George?!" I asked in shock.

“ Delighted to see you, milady," he said as he did a mock bow.

“ Why? Nothing makes sense," I said as I looked at George and the other lady who I didn't recognize, I had a feeling she was the person who called me.

“ Let my sister go, you asked me to come here and I did," I said as I looked at my sister who could barely keep her eyes open looking like someone who was drugged.

“ You don't get to decide what happens here, don't think you have any power here, do you understand me," She said with the gun still pointed at me.

“ Why are you doing this? Make me understand,”

" You want an explanation? You'll get one then, take a seat,”
