Another Reality...

Too Convincing...

Over the next two weeks Melissa and Lena made themselves look like the perfect couple. They were spotted everywhere together. It was beginning to make news. Kara saw red one night at the annual L Corp gala, and if it wasn't from Katie reminding her that they were attempting to make Lena jealous too she would have probably punched Melissa in the face. "Relax Kara...let's give them a show of our own..." Katie whispered taking the blondes hand and leading her over to a table in the far corner. As they passed a standing Lena and Melissa, Katie whispered something in Kara's ear causing the kryptonian's face to blush.

This earned a look from Lena. One of curiosity and jealousy as her green eyes bore holes into Katie's back. "Lena relax...she's just trying to get you upset." Melissa whispered. "I know...and it's fucking working!" Lena grumbled. Melissa hid her smile as they made their way around the room mingling with all the 'rich old duffs' as Lena called them. Back in the far corner Katie and Kara were making a plan on what to do if Lena and Melissa came this way. "There's only three chairs..what if they want to sit here?" Kara nervously asked. "Then..I'll sit on your lap..you'll put your arm as around my waist and nuzzle my neck. Get into it Kara...you need to do some acting.." Katie whispered. "Don't look now but here they come." Kara replied.

Katie smirked to herself as she moved from her seat to Kara's lap. Relaxing a little Kara put her arms around Katie's waist and did as she was told and began acting like they were getting cozy. "Are we interrupting something?" Lena asked as they approached the table. "Oh...no...we're just saving space.." Kara replied. Lena looked as if she could vomit as she took a seat in a chair. "You ok darling? Do you need me to get you some water?" Melissa asked as she scooted her chair closer putting her hand on Lena's knee.

Green eyes met blue as Lena looked up at Melissa. "It's just a little hot in here..." Lena replied. Smirking Melissa took Lena's hand before whispering in her ear. "Take your suit jacket off...then put it on the back of my chair then slide your hand up the slit in my dress...don't worry it's just acting..." Melissa explained. Lena nodded before standing up. As she removed her suit jacket she could feel Kara's eyes on her body, she had to hold back a smirk as she put it on the back of Melissa's chair. As she sat down she pulled Melissa's chair up next to her own and put her hand up the slit of her dress.

The four of them made small talk about everything before Alex and Maggie walked over. "Oh...I'll get some chairs.." Maggie stated. "Don't Melissa and I don't mind sharing...do we darling..." Lena stated. "No love we don't...here take my seat." Melissa replied as she went and sat on Lena's lap wrapping her arms around her neck. You could cut the tension with a butter knife at the table in the far corner. Between the stolen glances between Lena and Kara and the touching of their fake girlfriends its a miracle Kara didn't snap the table in two.
