Karlie's P.O.V

It's been two weeks since I broke my leg, two weeks since '1989' hit the shops and it's been two hours since Taylor and I came out. Things were hectic but it was a type of damage control because she flew to me when I broke my leg in Paris. If she hadn't done that we could have come out when we were supposed to. But I was glad to be out and proud, my mom and dad called and told me how proud of me they were, Taylor's parents called and congratulated us as well but the only thing that was bothering me was that Taylor has become paranoid over every little thing, and I know that she is one comment away from losing it. Hopefully it's at me and not anyone else because she would feel worse if it was someone other than me, with me she knows she can yell, curse and scream all she wants and it's fine but I know she blames herself when she does it to others.

Taylor was very conscious of her image and as a result practically begged me to live with her because she is scared about what the paparazzi will do to me. I talked to Lily yesterday when Taylor was at a radio interview and she simply told me that her husband was like that when Dixie was born and that I have to let her try to control things and eventually she will break, but that was what worried me. To get my mind off everything I called my doctor and scheduled an appointment to get the cast off this afternoon and they said to come in at 3.00pm. I was so excited to see my leg but worried about how the muscle had deteriorated. I knew I only had four weeks until Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in London and I wanted to be ready. Good thing Taylor is coming this year. It's hard to believe our crazy relationship stated almost a year ago. Well the attraction part anyway. Taylor was away again today, a performance of Out of the Woods for Ellen, so that is exciting, I was planning to watch the show later tonight because she left at 1.00am to be there by 7.00am to tape at 10.30am and be flying home by 2.30pm so she'll be home for dinner.

Carefully I get up of the couch where I've been camped today watching Netflix with the cats, and using my crutches I hop off to dress in a pair of sweatpants, tank top, hoodie and Nike running shoe for my good leg, chucking the extra sock and shoe in my handbag for after. I called security at 2.15pm since I wanted to leave and Taylor had instructed them to take me everywhere. I loved her so much. Walking into the doctor's office with Tom next to me, I said "Karlie Kloss to see Dr Sawyer." The receptionist looked up. "Very good Miss Kloss, the doctor will see you in ten minutes." I nodded and hopped over to a seat, Tom looked at me. "I'll call you guys later okay." He nodded and smiled before leaving. I had to admire Taylor, all her security guys, pilots and management team were good people. Management was better without Paula and it was hard not to get on with Tree. "Karlie Kloss." I heard someone call, I stood up and the nurse gestured for me to follow her. Arriving in a room with Dr Sawyer who greeted me and half an hour later I left my leg free and I was calling security to take me to the gym. I had called Phil my trainer and he was expecting me within an hour.

Stopping outside the gym I grabbed my bag and headed inside, greeting Phil and changing we started stretching, it felt good to be in the gym again. "Okay so today we will stretch and do some core body work before a fifteen minute warm up walk on the elliptical and then a half hour jog on the treadmill before finishing with a massage because Stu is in today." I smiled and thanked him. We started working out and before I knew it Stu had me on the massage table, stretching out all the muscles that had tightened up over the last two weeks. The break hadn't been bad and wouldn't harm my modelling career if I made smart choices. "So how's Taylor getting on?" Stu questioned me. My eyes opened in terror. 'Oh my god Taylor, She would defiantly be back by now and waiting for me.' "God Stu, where's my phone?" He looked at me as I sat up, clearly panicking. I noticed I hadn't taken it off silent and I had twenty missed calls all from Taylor and ten text messages from Taylor too. I listened to the first voicemail she left and she was just telling me, "I love you Karlie, see you in twenty minutes." Then the next one, "Okay, so I've been home for an hour and you're still not here, call me. I love you." The third one sounded panicked. "Karlie, this isn't funny. Call me back." Then I got to the last message. "For fuck sakes Karlie, the point of a phone is that you answer it when someone calls or texts you. I've been here wondering where you are for almost four hours. I made you dinner. Hopefully you're home soon to eat it. Bye." I groaned seeing the voicemail came in ten minutes ago and we lived five minutes from the gym so I hastily said goodbye to Stu and Phil and ran back to Taylor. Running past paparazzi and security I rushed to the elevator not wanting to chance the stairs. Reaching the door to the apartment I froze, not knowing what to expect but knowing that I deserved what I was about to receive.
