Karlie's P.O.V

Taylor groaning and rolling over into me woke me up. Well not that action specifically but because its winter here in New York it's extremely cold and she has some of the coldest feet I've ever felt. They are like little ice blocks. "What is it babe?" I question barely moving at all then I hear it. Our daughter grumbling through the baby monitor on Taylor's side of the bed since she is the lighter sleeper. "I got her babe, you go back to sleep." She groans appreciatively as I walk towards the nursery we created for our little bundle. Walking inside I spot the issue straight away. The little minx has wriggled out of her swaddle we did last night and managed to unstick the domes on her onesie and her foot is waving around. I sigh and walk over, not having to bother with lights since there is a nightlight in here and a small kids lamp in the corner that we have dimmed in case one of us gets up to Allie at night. I walk over and pick her up not bothering with her blanket she had wriggled out of. Instead I place her on the changing table and unstick all the domes and wriggle her out of the onesie to changer her nappy. Making funny faces at her I begin to talk and then remember Taylor is sleeping so I quieten down. Once Allie is cleaned up I put on a fresh onesie which she doesn't like because it's not warm and I settle down in the rocking chair to see if she will go back to sleep without a bottle since today will be a big day but Allie has other ideas. Half an hour later I can hear someone moving around the house and then the stairs creak and I know it's one of the twins but I keep rocking in hope that Allie will drop off.

A few minutes pass and then Kimmy appears at the door. "Kimmy," I whispered in shock. She was never one to be up early but then again she looked like she had been crying. "What's up baby sis?" I questioned playing dumb. "I know she told you Karlie," I looked at her.
"Yeah she did, because she cares." Kimmy nods and talks.
"I was just coming up to watch Allie sleep but she's up..." I smile at Allie and tickle her belly.
"Yep this trouble maker is up at this time every day. I guess she's an early riser." Kimmy nods and the says. "I took the test..."
"And?" I question as she looks at me and shakes her head.
"I'm pregnant." I was shocked, she looked devastated and I could only imagine how she is feeling right now. "You okay?" I question as she shakes her head. I stand and place Allie in her crib turning on the mobile that we brought her then I turn to Kimmy and take her in my arms. "Hey, it'll be okay." She shakes as she sobs and Taylor appears in the doorway. Noticing the look on her face I gather she heard everything and as she steps forward Kimmy turns and pushes herself towards Taylor who accepts her with open arms. "I didn't mean too..." she sobs as Taylor runs her fingers through Kimmy's hair and I sit down again. "We know." Taylor mutters. Slowly Kimmy calms down and we sit for a bit. "Merry Christmas guys," Kimmy says as we smile and return it. "Sorry I ruined it." She states as I shake my head. "You didn't Kimmy, and we will get through this. Trust me." She nods and we sit until 7.15am when Allie wakes up again. This time Taylor takes her downstairs and within three hours everyone is awake and someone is knocking on the door.

Walking towards it a strange man appears on the other side. He turns around and I see it's Austin. "Hey A, Merry Christmas." He grins, his cheeks slightly pink. "Same to you." He states shaking snow from his jacket and removing it. He knows where it all goes so I leave him to it. A few minutes later he joins us in the lounge where everyone is talking and chatting and Allie is asleep in Taylor's arms. An hour later and a huge pile of wrapping paper is in the middle of the lounge as Taylor takes Allie upstairs and everyone helps to get rid of the paper. As she comes back down I hear Kimmy say that she has something to say. "Uhm can I talk to you all?" she questions and I look at her but she nods. Mom turns to her. "Of course Kimmy," I wait anxiously as she begins to talk and I watch everyone's faces turn when she suddenly states. "I'm pregnant." The room goes quiet and then my parents rush to hug her. Both promising to be there for her. I can see Taylor's family standing still not sure what to do but then Andrea states. "We'll help too. We're all family here." Then she goes to hug Kimmy who hugs her back and takes a big breath. Everyone slowly merges to beside Kimmy who looks relieved as Kariann latches herself to Kimmy and I laugh as a pair of arms hug me from behind. "At least they get on." Taylor mumbles from behind me.
"Yeah, imagine that." She laughs as we walk over and join them as we have the best Christmas ever.

Taylor's P.O.V

Nashville, 12 January 2015

I'm home in Nashville for a few days with Allie while Karlie is busy with modelling shoots in L.A. I've been staying with my parents because they claim that it's unfair that I'm in Nashville but don't stay with them. I don't really mind. Me staying means I get free childcare for Allie but she doesn't care either and she doesn't like to be away from me for too long. "Taylor, she's crying again." Austin calls from the lounge. He's home for a week between exams so he's been spending time with his niece. "Maybe it's you then?" I questioned as I walked inside. But he shakes his head as I see her in mom's arms screaming her head off. Laughing slightly I take her from mom as she instantly settles into my arms and looks at me. Her blue eyes are so bright today. "Aww Allie, didn't you want grandma or Uncle Austin today hmm," I question while rocking her gently. Carefully I walk through the house as Karlie comes in the front door looking pale having just flown in from L.A. "Taylor we have a problem," I look at her. "Oh yeah what's that?" I question as she looks at me.
"Babe I have to go away for another shoot." I smile and nod. "You don't get it, I'm leaving for three weeks." I look at her as she scoffs and sits in a huff. "What's wrong with that babe?" I question as she grumbles. "Nothing, I'm just going to miss you." My heart melts.
"We will miss you too. But it's your job." She nods and says in a whisper.
"I'm leaving tomorrow can we do date night tonight?" I smile and nod knowing that it was date night or possibly was code for long love-making. Either way I win and that brings a large smile to my face as I go to find my mom to get her to watch Allie for me.
