Karlie's P.O.V

Landing in Paris almost twelve hours later felt like a dream, I couldn't believe the nightmare I had just experienced in the last few days. My manager seemed shocked that I was leaving again when I had requested three weeks off but I was in such a high demand that it wasn't that difficult getting me booked for three weeks in Europe. Taylor had shocked me, that night at Victoria's Secret I was convinced that she wanted me and I knew I wanted her but yesterday I didn't know anymore. Maybe I read her wrong but Lily seemed convinced that she wanted it too. I shrugged my shoulders and grabbed my satchel that I used when I travelled, shoving my travel pillow inside I turned on my cell phone and flicked my parents and sisters a text telling them I was in Paris for a few weeks plus my manager to let her know I was okay and had arrived. Nothing from Taylor which didn't really surprise me considering what she said to me, I understood that she was nervous hell so was I but I wanted to at least try not run off when things got hard. She didn't even bother trying and it felt right to be here in Paris, the city of love. Although ironic I shook my head and walked to my hotel. Getting my room key I dumped off my luggage before heading out for a stroll. I loved it here and I could imagine bringing Taylor but that's all gone now. Sitting down with a frown I stared at my phone willing it to ring and for her to say it was all a mistake but it didn't. "Why so glum?" a voice called from beside me. I turned and saw a brown haired woman with grey eyes staring at me. "You talking to me?" I questioned pointing to myself. She laughed and nodded. "Oh it's nothing." I replied.

"I don't really believe that, this is the most romantic city in the world. I'm sure he will come around." I laughed. "She actually, and I don't think so." I watched as the woman came over to me. Sitting down next to me she said, "You're Karlie Kloss the model, hi I'm Polly Parker." I shook her hand that she held out and smiled. "Hi Polly and yes I'm Karlie." She smiled and mentioned she reads magazines. After an hour or so of talking I invite her to eat with me.

Taylor's P.O.V

Sitting on my couch in the dark I looked and saw it was nearly 11.00pm at night. Meredith was curled up at the end of the couch sleeping and I stood and stretched. Hearing my phone ring from the kitchen I sprinted towards it but seeing the word 'MANAGEMENT' I froze. I knew I had made a mistake listening to Paula last night but nothing could change what I said to Karlie. She was heartbroken and I didn't feel that great myself but not one to be rude I answered the call. "Hello..."
"Oh thank god we reached you Taylor. Are you busy?" I looked around my dark apartment and shook my head. I wasn't busy, I was lonely. "No, but..." Paula quickly interrupted.
"Good, well you can pack for London. I've got you an interview with Nick Grimshaw the radio host." I nodded and then said, "Okay." Before hanging up the phone, I felt more lonely than ever and wondered what Karlie was doing. Did she miss me? 'Of course not Taylor look at what you told her.' I shook my head as a text came through from Lily, 'CALL ME ASAP' I clicked on her contact and pressed talk. "You and me need to talk..." she spat into the phone.
"Okay, why?"
"You sent her away. I'm coming there right now open your door." Pulling my phone away from my ear I heard the bang on the door and I went to open it as a mad Lily flew past me, stopping at the couch she pivoted and said, "What did you do?" I opened my mouth and then started to explain, as well as the phone call. When I finished I had nothing more to say and felt more ashamed than before. But before I knew what was happening Lily had swept me into her arms. "Shush...it's okay Taylor. We can fix this." I only realised I was crying when she spoke to me. Hugging her back I realised what I had lost and the feeling set in. I wanted her to come back.

Three hours later I sat staring at my phone. Picking it up I sent out a tweet. 'If you want to find love, don't let people tell you what to do. #makingmistakes' Five minutes later it was trending and hundreds had commented and liked it but I only wanted one person to see it. Knowing it was hopeless I called Paula and cancelled Nick and then called Scott to fire the management team. He was surprised but not shocked after all the Emily Poe things were rumours because management made a big deal out of something that was personal, they sent her away when my family begged her to be left alone. Management ruined my first female crush, she never worked in Nashville again, she is now in Canada.

A few hours later I found myself sitting on my couch when my mom called. "Honey, she's in Paris." I jumped off the couch and rushed for the door, grabbing my phone and calling the pilot who said he was ready to go. Everyone had been pre-warned already. Hours later I arrived in Paris to find it was morning already. I knew where Karlie was staying because Lily told me, rushing there I had just gotten out of the elevator when the door to her room opened and a brown haired woman walked out, her hair was wild and I instantly knew I was too later. Dejected and feeling down I had no one to blame but myself. Karlie had fixed herself and now I was broken hearted.
