This is the last chapter of What I Want. The epilogue will be posted at the same time. I want to thank you all for reading this story and loving it as much as I do. I've made some new friends because of this story and want to thank you all for taking time to read, vote and many of you comment too. I love the witty banter that some of us have both on the story and in private messages. To all of you from the bottom of my heart, thank-you.

Summer's P.O.V

Getting off the plane in New York City feels like a dream but I know that this is all for personal gain, Cara's personal gain. I've been following Karlie's life since we broke up because I couldn't turn off the caring side of me that wanted happiness for her and her modelling career. I loved her once and I was still in love with her as an idea but not as a person.I lost that right when we were younger and besides I think that Karlie andTaylor make an amazing couple and their kid certainly looks cute, like a young version of Taylor despite being adopted not born to them. It was uncanny. For some reason I know that going to visit Karlie and bring up old memories is abad idea but it makes sense when Cara explains it. I'm going there to cause trouble and hopefully send Karlie running to Cara when things go wrong.

Taylor's P.O.V

"Ooh we're halfway there, ooh living on a prayer..." I'm singing the lyrics to Bon Jovi's 'Living on a prayer' when the doorbell rings. I rush towards it thinking its Karlie forgetting her key and I get paranoid constantly so we always keep the front door locked. Opening it I'm shocked to see Gus standing there but I open the door and smile at him none the less. "Hey Gus," I state he looks at me and fakes a smile, I know the real Gus smiles. "What's up?" I question. He looks at me.  "Uhm, can you or Karlie come downstairs like now?" I frown and look at him. "Sure, what's it about?" I question coming into the hallway and shutting the door behind me. I look at him breathe deeply as we walk towards the elevator. "A woman is there claiming to be an ex-girlfriend of Karlie's and that Karlie wanted to see her and called her and stuff but we didn't believe her so I thought if one of you could come and sort it out to avoid a paparazzi scene. I nod agreeing with what he is saying. "Yeah I get it. Is she in the..."
"Lobby," He states as I nod. Then with the ding of the elevator and before I know it I'm face to face with a beautiful brunette woman who is shorter than me and has a nice body. I know I shouldn't look but I'm married and harmless.

The woman in question turns and faces me and then walks over with her hand out. "Hi I'm Summer. Summer Fields. Karlie may have mentioned me. My mouth almost falls open, this is Summer the one Karlie wanted after her accident. I smile cautiously and take her offered hand. "Taylor Swift-Kloss." I state proud of my married name and hoping it causes discomfort but Summer only smiles. "Is Karlie around? I wanted to catch-up with her?" I shake my head.  "Nope, she's out at the moment. Is it urgent?" I question hoping to just be able to take her number.
"Oh well, do you mind if I wait for her here?" my mouth almost drops again. This woman wants to stay here in the lobby, the cold lobby during Winter. Glancing at Gus who is sending me warning glares I say. "Why don't you come up?" She looks at me.
"Really?" I nod uncomfortably.
"If you're a friend of Karlie's I'm sure she would appreciate me letting you sit in the comfort of our home." I say emphasising on 'our home' more than anything. Summer smiles and thanks me.
"That would be lovely." I nod stiffly and look at Gus and he understands and says.
"Oh Taylor I need to fix that door of Allie's." Turning I nod and tell him if Paul doesn't need him he can come now. He goes over and explains the situation to Paul who understands when he uses the word 'tomato' which is code for 'she needs help' he looks at me while Summer glances around waiting for Gus to come back. Paul nods sharply and glances at me then his phone and I understand that I should call him if I need to.

The elevator ride back to mine and Karlie's apartment is quiet but upon walking into the apartment all I can hear is Allie crying and saying "mum...mum...mum..." over and over again. I excuse myself as Gus shows Summer where she can wait as I walk upstairs towards Allie's nursery. Walking in I watch Allie take a huge sigh and lie down again. It makes me laugh which alerts her to me being in the room. I watch her stand up, using the crib to help her."Mum...mum..." she cries as I walk over to her and hook under her arms to carry her. "What princess, mommy's here." She sighs and lies her head on my shoulder. I soothe her back with circles as she calm's herself down and then I walk over and shut her door before lying her down so I can change her into her everyday clothes. She whines and then watches what I'm doing before crawling over to obviously in her mind help but it turns into her throwing her clothes around thinking it's funny. I eventually grab a red long sleeved onesie that domes under her nappy and a pair of striped blue and black tights and a pair of socks. Rather than fighting with me Allie lies back on her changing mat with Mr Tickles as I strip off her pyjamas and throw them into her laundry hamper withher dirty clothes and change her wet nappy. Putting on a bit of baby powder to prevent chaffing I slip on the onesie, dome it and quickly slip on her socks that have cats all over them. Laughing she tries to pull them off but I say no and she stops quickly. I stand her up on my legs as I kneel and place kisses all over her face. "So cute Allie-gator..." I coo before sitting her on my lap, her back to my chest and tugging on the tights. She turns in my arms and I hug her before sitting her down and putting away the dirty nappy and all the other clothes she tossed across the room. She quietly plays with Mr Tickles until I walk to the door and she quickly crawls to me and sits with her arms up waitingfor me to pick her up, which I do and we walk downstairs. Walking into the lounge Allie is all smiles until she see's Summer, as if she knows she instantly puts her head in my neck as I rub her back. Gus comes over and tries to tickle her but it makes Allie start to cry which is new. Gus looks at me in shock before I say, "It's probably new faces." I say trying not to be rude to Summer, she nods but looks at me. "She's cute." I look at Summer and smile involuntary. "Thank-you. She looks a lot like Karlie." Summer nods but I can tell she is thinking.
