a week before christmas holidays, y/n, sasha and historia visited jean's workplace.

when y/n said she wanted to go, the two girls assumed it was because of her feelings.

but, in reality, she just wanted to check if she still felt something towards him.

she had reached a stage where she stared at photos of jean and she couldn't feel any change in her heartbeat.

and even when she was sitting on her bed touching her lips because she could still feel his, she didn't feel anything.

yet, she didn't know how her heart would react once she was actually in front of him.

when she walked into the restaurant he worked at, their eyes immediately locked.

and y/n felt nothing.

she felt nothing when he tried to joke with her when taking their orders.

she felt nothing when he ruffled her hair.

she just felt disgusted with his behavior.

because how dare he act like this after ripping the heart out of her chest and dropping it- making it break into a million pieces?

how dare he act like they were just fine and nothing ever happened?

y/n had one more reason to feel completely disappointed with him.

yet, she didn't show it on her face.

her eyes just kept following his figure with a smirk on her face. jean was still looking at her all the time.

y/n pretended to not hear sasha teasing her about how 'obvious her crush was'.

but the two girls didn't know that she knew exactly what she was doing.

before leaving her house, she wrote down on a piece of paper more manifestations· which she placed inside her pocket.

she wanted to give him false hope.

so, she was looking at him the same way she used to, making him believe that he'd be able to get back in her life.

after that, she would only disappear and leave him wonder what all that meant.

y/n, simply, wanted to give jean a taste of his own medicine.
