She heard Alicent sigh as they walk towards the doorway to exit. The men approached them to offer them help and march with them as they walk but Alicent stopped them with raising her hand to them, signalling for them to stop while she and the princess walks- and so they did. The knightguards halted and respected the queen's decision with a bow, letting the princess and her mother make their way towards her chamber.

They walked in silence but at such speed. Rhaenyra couldn't help but be buggered still by the queen's drinking issue earlier so she asked, "Do you drink so often, your grace?"

"No." Alicent replied,

"That doesn't seem like it.."

Silence.

Rhaenyra decided to speak again, "My father would be surprised to find out that his wife wasn't exactly what he thought she was. She's a drunkard." she rolled her eyes.

Alicent clenched her jaw as they both walk, seeming to lose her temper once more to her step-daughter. "If you have nothing else worthy to say then speak not at all."

Rhaenyra scoffed, "Why? does my words not matter to you, your grace?"

"It doesn't if all you're going to spit out from that dirty mouth is more of your filthy words." Alicent hissed, she sighed in devastation. It took a moment before Rhaenyra had answered her, "I only speak truth. You don't like truth, don't you, your grace?"

"If you only got any better ways to say it." The queen muttered under her breath while rolling her eyes in annoyance.

"Why should I speak so fondly? Are your imperfections and cruelty so great? Are they good news? If one can do dirty things with their hands then why shan't i get my mouth dirty for the truth she well deserves?" Rhaenyra fought back. During those times she spoke all knowing, Alicent has been clenching her hands to her side and gritting her teeth.

"I command you to mute until you've got something else relevant and proper to say."

Rhaenyra wanted to act unlady-like by the way the queen was making her feel, she prevented it though- she did not want to worsen the situation. So instead, she gritted her teeth and said with sarcasm, "If it pleases you." the Targaryen princess didn't like it. Using the queen's privilege as an advantage. Too much advantage.

Alicent didn't reply once again. They finally made their last turn after climbing their way up the stairs. They passed Rhaenyra's room and went straight to the queen's chambers

"You may all depart." alicent announced to the ladies in her chambers that are cleaning. They nodded and made their exit before the queen.

Rhaenyra, knowing what she should do- she entered the chambers with the queen and went straight to the wardrobe she saw. She pulled the door, opening it to reveal another dark green dress. She quickly pulled it out and placed it on top of Alicent's bed. "You always wore greens.." Rhaenyra muttered. She walked towards the queen
