"Have you ever wandered to yourself; why must I make things complicated?" the queen asked with boredom in her tone as she rode her horse, doing her best to not fall off the saddle.

Rhaenyra glanced up to her as she walked with Alicent's horse's leash by hand, "Careful, your grace. I could have this horse run with you alone, and you might fall off," Rhaenyra teased,

"And you might get yourself imprisoned for killing the queen," Alicent spits back. That's right. The current horse of the princess is being walked by the leash by one of the knightguards behind them, while Rhaenyra walks Alicent's, as it is the queen's first time riding horseback. Rhaenyra had no choice but to show the queen that there is nothing to be worried about.

Rhaenyra sighed and patted the horse's nose, "That's enough walking for me."

The sight of the princess letting go of the leash and departing from her made her anxious by being individually carried by her brown horse, with no guidance of Rhaenyra of course.

Alicent watched as Rhaenyra easily hopped on her horse's saddle and it rushed to Alicent's level, "You're not looking bad yourself, your grace." the princess grinned, but the queen only found it unamusing.

The redhead rolled her eyes and focused more on the road, a silent huff that escaped from her lips was heard. Rhaenyra had her purple eyes still on Alicent; trusting her own horse to lead off the road while she, the princess, occupied herself by the queen's image just a feet away from her.

"Don't look so grim, your grace," she smiled as she watches Alicent's hand clutched tighter on the horse's leash, balancing herself on top.

"How is this connecting with my people?" the princess heard Alicent grumble under her breath, "Where are we even headed?" Alicent turned to look at Rhaenyra to who immediately looked away from the redhead

They have been walking through the trees for minutes and only little passengers have seen them pass by. They were looked upon and greeted when they recognized their faces. The cold air and warm sun both clashed on their skins as they rode. On a few roads, Rhaenyra had seen the opening beauty of the sky, the clouds, and the people who harvests.

The Targaryen beaut grinned at the sight before she could finally beam that grin on Alicent. Alicent, the queen, who eyed the smile on her step-daughter's face, does not trust her. "What?"

"Come, your grace," she said excitedly before making her own horse neigh and run towards the people who harvest. Alicent felt pressured at the running, despite that, she still encouraged her horse to do the same thing.

"Seven hells," she muttered under her breath, holding tight onto the leash as the horse made haste.

She halted as soon as she saw Rhaenyra hop off her horse near the people. With worry, Alicent tried to bring herself down the horse with the assistance of the knightguards.

She pulled the sides of her dress to fasten her pace towards the princess, "Rhaenyra," her tone mixed with worry and urgency. Worried about what those people might do to the princess as she saw them surround the Targaryen woman. Worried that those may be a bunch of Deraumon's troop and would held Rhaenyra captive, or worse— kill her; and there would be nothing that she could do.

The princess turned to look at her with a smile on her face and a glove on her hand. Fully turning her body, the others had noticed the queen with a group of knightguards and one horse behind her, immediately making them bow their heads down in courtesy
