Inside the bedchambers of the king and queen Alicent, Viserys was the first to wake up on his bed. Feeling a sudden odd sensation on his skin. He groaned as he sat down with Alicent still laying asleep beside him— the reflection of dark blue skies lingers on her face, signifying the early morning of the day. His face was scrunched right before he caught a glimpse of his skin on his wrist— there were light spots, making his skin color uneven. Strange.
Viserys frowned at the sight of this, unable to establish an expression nor any kind of specific reaction. He slowly and warily lifted up his hand to touch his wrist, where the lighter skin appeared. When his finger made contact with the discolored patch of his skin, it was rough. His breathing became heavy and rigid, wondering what has happened to him.
He was quick to retract his hand back down when he heard his wife shift on the bed while still asleep, he glanced at her and gave her a small peck at the temple of her head. He does not often do that for he doesn't get very affectionate with the queen. He thought that the younger woman might be needing some time to adjust and reposition herself to the current relationship that they have but Viserys thought that it would be better to begin being affectionate to her now-- especially because he does not want the bedding with the queen to be unpleasant, precisely to Alicent.
He sighed before deciding to stand up and get ready for another day that all are about to face.
Walking with Caspain, the door was opened for the princess who entered the godswood with her hands behind her back and a calm expression on her face. Though it does not seem happy, it is just as calm as it looks. The silver head took her time walking into the path that leads towards the weirwood, where she saw her dear friend Dorcas just standing there, waiting for the princess under the tree. Rhaenyra's brows were soon to furrow when she noticed that grimace on the blonde's face.
"Dorcas?" The blonde kept quiet until Rhaenyra had reached her.
Dorcas looked at her with a frown, a one that tells the princess something isn't right. "Dorcas, what's wrong?"
"You know what's wrong, Rhaenyra." The blonde snapped, taking the princess aback by the way her dear dove is talking to her. Rhaenyra shook her head unknowingly
"No, I do not. What has happened?" Still not getting it, the princess attempted to grab her friend's hand, but Dorcas quickly avoided the meeting of their skin. Like having a diseased person come to her, that's how Dorcas reacted.
This time, it didn't please the princess to be treated that way, "What is wrong with you? What have I done?" She asked, her voice is desperate and frustrated
Dorcas groaned and shut her eyes for a moment before scowling at the princess again, "Oh! you know what you have done, Rhaenyra!"
