"Thank you, lady Elinda, I think that would be all." Rhaenyra nodded towards her lady-in-waiting who just finished gathering her clothes and needs for the travel and stay at the Oldtown.

The woman bowed her head to the princess, "You may go." Rhaenyra permitted. The woman left her chambers and so she was left alone. The emptiness atmosphere inside made her hear almost everything close to her considering the men shouting outside, the waves of the water on a deep surface, and even the sound of emptiness- she hears. She nervously held her hands together below her chest and approached her window, looking at the view of the sea a few feet away from where she's standing.

If only my mother were still alive... if only my father wouldn't have remarried too soon-

She thought to herself as she stared into the great deep sight of the sea. She wonders if her father has genuinely taken a liking to the woman he married and replaced after her mother. She sighed and looked at her intertwined hands. The princess' door suddenly opened with a knightguard announcing, "The queen Alicent Targaryen, princess."

Rhaenyra's head turned to look but at the same time she couldn't help but despise their last name on Alicent's. The princess thought that the woman before her doesn't deserve their last name. She takes pride and privilege to their last name, she may not say it loudly but she knew her family's name is truly closer to the gods, and Alicent- is way too far below the surface to earn that last name.

The knight moved aside to let the queen enter before departing from the room and closing the door, leaving Alicent and her alone in her room.

Rhaenyra looked back to her window, "Your grace." The title was harder than it thought for her to spit out as it means she acknowledged the woman behind her.

"Have you got your belongings? I will call the men to transport them to our ship." Alicent spoke softly behind her, yet her tone seems too plain and dull. Rhaenyra looked over her shoulder for a moment before responding, "Yes."

A moment of silence before Alicent sighed and Rhaenyra heard footsteps moving. She thought that the woman was ready to leave but instead, the footsteps sound are just getting closer and closer until she could feel the queen's presence behind her. "Would you dare say to the king about the matter that's happened the other day?"

Rhaenyra lifted her chin while not tearing her eyes away from the bluest water of the sea. She sighed and decided to act knowing, "I haven't decided yet." Her cold tone made the queen sigh.

"Rhaenyra-" She cut herself off, trying to think of words to say to the Targaryen girl in front of her. "Forgive me. I was out of control and it wasn't what queens should normally do but-"

"But you did," The girl finally turned around to face her. "You hit me and it only made me realize that you really are just as cheap as you are. A bitch." Rhaenyra released the toxins of her words that were injected to Alicent's veins, causing the older woma's eyes to widen in shock and offense.

"Rhaenyra," She gasped. Her widened eyes turned into disbelief, her disbelief turned into a frown, then her frown turned into a scowl, "I don't know where that is coming from but this is exactly why I have lost all my patience to you because from the very beginning you have lost your respect towards me," Her voice raised. "You cannot deny that even I made an effort to be close to you and you dare take no consideration and sympathy for i-"

"Shouldn't you be the woman who should act as a mother? Slapping me was your very first impression."

Alicent took an irritated step, "When I have tried to do good deeds to you, you pay no mind at all- but when I have done a mistake?" Her last word came out as a cry to their ears, the desperation towards in Alicent's eyes did not go unnoticed. "When I have done a mistake you put all your judgement towards it and dare to treat me with no respect,"
