Viserys placed a kiss on Alicent's temple before walking past her and straight to his Old Valyria model. "That is quite unexpected. Especially because she never really gets to ask Esther to come with her and show her Syrax." He spoke before grabbing a model structure of a dragon.
Alicent turned around to face him, hands held together infront of her stomach, "Is that so?" she nervously fidgets on her fingers, rubbing her hand to cover her anxiousness.
The king nodded before placing back the dragon model, "Indeed. I believe this might be her way of telling that the princess is finally starting to really like you." He smiled at the thought while admiring his model.
Alicent swallowed a lump in her throat. If only he who knows-
She knew that must've been far from it, especially because Rhaenyra's been acting all nice all of a sudden— and it doesn't sit right with Alicent. It bugs her and never leaves her alone, a mind can be such cruel things.
"I hope so too, dear husband." She spoke unwillingly.
"Are you certain?" The king asked, pausing to look at her and wait for her answer
Alicent stood there dumbfounded, "What?"
"Are you certain to meet the dragon?" The king completed before looking back towards his work of model
Alicent took a deep breath before responding, "I believe I will be able to handle it just as well. Thank you, sweet king."
Viserys glanced at her with a nod, "You have my permission, Alicent. Just be sure to spend your time with her exquisitely." He smiled.
Alicent smiled at him in bittersweet before nodding and giving him a slight bow and leaving their chamber. She was met by her knight guards who are waiting for her outside to assist her, "Your grace, princess Rhaenyra is already waiting for you downstairs with a carriage." a knight informed as they continue to walk and escort her.
Passing other people, they all bowed down at the queen's presence. She continued her way and doors were opened for her until she reached where the princess stands, talking to Alaric.
Alaric's eyes switched to Alicent causing him to fully face her and bow his head to which Rhaenyra' followed his gaze, "Your grace." He acknowledged.
Rhaenyra planted a small smile when Alicent has finally reached them, "Your grace."
