"My son Corwyn is a very charming boy, princess, we shall set you two up. I will make him pay a visit so you can see for yourself." Luthor smiled towards Rhaenyra who returned it with a hesitant small smile.
Before she could answer, Alicent did, "I permit it, Ser Luthor." She clasped her hands together on the table with a small smile that Rhaenyra couldn't if was fake or not. "Your son should be able to have the chance to meet my daughter, and maybe he and Rhaenyra." She eyed the princess, "-Will be able to find each other's company grand." She looked back towards his brother's friend.
Lord Amber and his friend nodded with a satisfied smile but Rhaenyra frowned towards the direction of her mother. "Send him off for as soon as you can." Added the queen, the bothering smile never left
Caspain and Rhaenyra walks around close to the tower just outside, "She told him yes and that she grants him permission to do so but-" she sighed in distress and flopped her arms down to her sides.
"You do not want to meet him?" He asked
She sighed once more, "I have had many suitors to the point that I am exhausted of meeting one again and again" Caspain smiled at this.
"Well maybe perhaps I should sneak you out during your private meet with this.. boy- or I could maybe scare him off so that you won't have to suffer much longer on your possible boring conversation. Just say the word, princess." He smirked.
Rhaenyra laughed at this, "No, Ser. We will not sneak out nor scare him off, we are both death by the queen's damned mouth." Both laughed at her remark. Caspain shook his head with a wide grin as they wander around.
"Princess," He called and Rhaenyra responded with a hum. "Why can't you and the queen get along? Is your heart still hardened by queen Esther's death that you could not accept queen Alicent as your mother?"
The question left Rhaenyra in silence, in pure deep thoughts as her eyes stayed glued on the floor while they walk. The boy waited for her answer in patience while looking softly at her.
Alas, the princess replied, "It's not just that," she paused, Caspain again waited for her to answer.
She quickly pulled herself together and forced a wide sarcastic smile, "She is also- a bitch."
The Laurent's eyes widened at this, he was startled by the princess' term. He halted and quickly looked around to see if anyone was there, listening or watching, he also happened to instinctively jumped close to her, "Princess!" He whispered sharply with worried eyes. He was prepared to fight for the silver head if a listening knight approach them and take her away for the words that slipped from her mouth.
Rhaenyra found his reaction funny to which she tried to prevent a laugh. Caspain looked at her with confused yet worried eyes, "Why are you laughing? Someone could hear you calling out the queen like that-"
"And what, Caspain? Have me punished by death?" She snorted and continued walking. "I am the princess, Ser. Did you know?" She glanced at him with a teasing smirk. "Did you really think that my father would let some kind of thing happen to me?"
Caspain thought for a moment with relief that the princess is safe from the way she talked about the queen. He breathed an amused sound from his mouth before following the princess once again. "You are full of surprises, princess Rhaenyra. But tell me, what made you say that to queen Alicent? Why the hatred?"
