"My princess, that is your tub. Let us bathe the pet somewhere else," a lady spoke with highly concern printed on her face as she watched the silver head dip her own finger to test the water temperature

Rhaenyra proceeded to slowly place the dog in the tub, gently and cautiously; carefully to not scare the animal. "It's alright, my lady. The dog is no stranger to me. What I have is hers." the princess assured with her eyes not leaving the dog, intending to check any uncomfortable reaction from it.

The lady beside her watched in horror as she dipped the dog in her tub. She sighed slightly, "At least let me bathe it, you will get yourself wet."

"No need, my lady. It's better that I wash her instead of someone stranger to her—" she insisted and looked up to the eyes of the worried lady. "I'll be alright," she reassured.

The lady, who was still unsatisfied and was not contented couldn't do anything at all by the princess' pushing insistance. She couldn't do anything but to just nod her head in defeat, "If you say so, princess.." she mumbles with hesitance.

With her victory of the debate between her and this lady with her, she smiled and had thought that she could finally focus on bathing her little creature; not until the door was busted open to reveal the queen slightly panting from her rush to get to the princess. Alicent's eyes immediately met Rhaenyra's whose eyebrows are raised at the sight and sudden entrance.

"My Queen," the lady immediately bowed in curtesy.

Alicent's gaze finally drifted apart from the purple eyes of the Targaryen to switch to the presence of the lady who was with the princess. She closed the door and calmed her breathing discreetly. The queen nodded at the lady before speaking, "You may depart. The princess and I will take it from here, thank you."

With another hesitance look on her face— the lady couldn't do anything else but to eye the princess and the queen before nodding. She bent her knees slightly as an act of curtesy, "I shall go now. Your grace, princess." she bid her farewell before proceeding towards her exit and closing the door behind her.

Silence was left and Rhaenyra continued her duty to pour a small amount of water on top of the dog's body from her bare hand.

Alicent approached, holding both sides of her dress to walk comfortably, "You should have left it to the ladies," she spoke

"Not interested. I want to be the one to clean her first." the princess replied, carefully dusting off the coal on the dog's fur

"You speak like a mother," Alicent said, setting herself before the princess, eyes on the dog.

Rhaenyra glared at her with her purple eyes, disagreeing with the thought of being a mother, "I'd rather be a mother of dogs and Syrax than to be a mother of a real babe." she scoffed

Alicent's gaze switched to hers, carefully watching the silver head, "I hate to burst your thought but you're necessary to have one."

Rhaenyra sighed in distress, "I'd rather not talk about it." she spatted coldly. Eyes glaring at the fur of the dog that she currently brushes with her hand. Alicent noticed this and decided not to push the younger woman's temper.

She settled herself properly before sighing, "So have you thought of a name, princess?" she raised a brow as she awaits for Rhaenyra's answer
