"'Suppose he and his army will land here. If they do— then we attack here." Julius spoke, pointing at the map on the table.Daemon scoffed before approaching the table, "You clearly are a mindless person. I don't know why the king has ever chosen you to be his hand," He shoved the Laurent away before replacing his spot, moving a model pawn on top of a specific area on the map. "Here— is the sea, and right here, this is the perfect spot. I believe only one dragon would be enough to defeat them," He looked up his eyes with his head still directed to the table, meeting his brother's glance, "Caraxes should be enough." He added.
"My plan is better. It is decent and effective." Julius spoke from the side
"And so is mine—" Daemon turned around to face him
"Yours is an aggressive plan. A dragon needn't be there." The Hand exclaimed
"It's passive aggressive. A dragon is there for intimidation and success. This is who we are. You heard that man— he fears no dragons? Let's put that to test, shall we?"
"May I remind the both of you that this is the only plan if ever things go south? We are first to negotiate with him." Viserys finally spoke after the banter of Daemon and Julius. All the members in the council meeting chamber looked at him.
"Yes, but a negotiation is through words but this—" Daemon pointed at the map where there are small replicas of banners and towers placed, "This is through actions. This needs to be discussed, planned well. I don't know how long it's been since you've set foot onto a battlefield, brother, but I don't think a negotiation will work on Deraumon." He sighed in annoyance.
"With all due respect, my king— I think Daemon has a point. A negotiation with the Black would have a low chance." Ector looked at the king humbly with light fury's end point landed on the ground with both his palms on the handle.
Viserys looked at him for five seconds before letting out a small sigh. Caspain stood there behind his father in silence. Eager to go as he wonders where his princess might be as they talk, remembering how busy the princess was last night when they have crossed paths.
The king sighed once more before speaking, "Alright then. Keep an eye on him and his troops, once he's done with the Baratheons he might be coming for us next."
Ector and Julius nodded in manner whilst Daemon just squints his eyes towards Viserys, not saying a single word after.
Meanwhile, under a very shining sunlight, Rhaenyra currently wears a much more comfortable dress, gloves on her hands while crouching on the dirt in the gardens.
A rustle of steps were heard from a short distance, making Rhaenyra form a little smirk as she pats the soil hardly on the ground. After a little while, the footsteps are becoming louder.
"What are you doing?" A confused tone was heard.
Rhaenyra looked to her side and grinned once her eyes landed on the queen who was watching her. "It's good you could join, your grace." She beamed.
"What?" Alicent stood there dumbfounded causing the princess to laugh slightly before lifting up her hand and gesturing her to come close, and so she did— the queen curiously approached her, eyes are wandering on the ground. There have been some soils that seemed carefully patted flat and some were with a bump. "What's all this?" She raised her eyebrows in amusement.
