Raze stood at the railing, her mind clouded with a storm of emotions. She felt the weight of the past week bearing down on her, the absence of Trevor leaving a gaping hole in her heart. As she gazed out at the world beyond, a sense of desperation washed over her, threatening to consume her entirely.

In a moment of impulsive recklessness, Raze made a move to jump. But to her surprise, her path was blocked by an unexpected obstacle – the once open railing now replaced by a solid wall of glass.

Her heart pounded in her chest as she stared at the barrier before her, a tangible reminder of Trevor's interference. Anger bubbled up inside her, mingling with the pain and confusion that had plagued her in his absence.

"You're an asshole, Trevor," she spat out, her voice filled with a mixture of resentment and hurt.

But even as the words left her lips, Raze couldn't shake the lingering sense of betrayal that gnawed at her insides. She felt trapped, both by the glass barrier that separated her from the void below and by the tangled web of emotions that bound her to Trevor, despite everything that had transpired between them.

As Raze's anger simmered, she found herself grappling with a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. She couldn't deny the hurt and betrayal she felt at Trevor's interference, but beneath it all, there lingered a faint glimmer of something else – a flicker of concern and longing that refused to be extinguished.

With a heavy sigh, Raze leaned against the glass barrier, her thoughts swirling in turmoil. She knew she couldn't continue like this, caught between her anger towards Trevor and the undeniable pull she still felt towards him.

But as she stared out at the world beyond, a sense of determination began to take root within her. She refused to let Trevor dictate her actions any longer. She would find a way to break free from his hold over her, to carve out a path for herself independent of his influence.

With newfound resolve, Raze turned away from the railing and set off down the path before her. Though the road ahead was uncertain and fraught with challenges, she knew that she was capable of facing whatever lay in store.

For now, she would focus on reclaiming her autonomy and rediscovering the strength that lay dormant within her. As she took her first steps forward, Raze felt a glimmer of hope stirring deep within her soul – a beacon of light guiding her toward a brighter future, free from the shadows of her past.

at dinner...

The chef stood outside Raze's door, his knuckles poised to knock once more. He hesitated, sensing that something was amiss. With a furrowed brow, he called out tentatively, "Ms. Raze, it's dinner time. I've prepared your meal as usual. Are you there?"

But there was no response from within the cabin, only silence greeting his ears. Concern gnawed at the edges of his mind as he wondered if something might be wrong. He debated whether to knock again or to seek assistance from someone else on the ship.

After a moment of hesitation, the chef decided to err on the side of caution. He turned away from Raze's door, determined to inform the ship's staff about the situation. It was better to be safe than sorry, especially when it came to the well-being of the passengers under his care.

As the chef made his way through the corridors of the cruise ship, his mind raced with worry. He knew that it was unusual for Raze to not respond to his knock, and he couldn't shake the feeling that something might be seriously wrong.

Upon reaching the ship's staff quarters, the chef quickly sought out the head steward, a seasoned crew member who was well-versed in handling such situations. He explained the situation to the head steward, emphasizing his concern for Raze's well-being.
