episode four ; i plunge to my death

BEATRICE AND THE three had managed to get a good distance away from the officers. the train began to shudder. annabeth turned around, grabbing the chain and locking the door so the officers wouldn't catch them.
just as the officers reached the door, annabeth ran and the officers shouted from behind the door.
"beatrice." grover said in a worried tone. the young adult turned to face him.
"open this door!"
beatrice watched as grover pulled out a stinger from her thick leather jacket. she stared at it with wide eyes, breathing heavily
"come back here and open this door!"
"what is that?" percy asked, staring at the stinger and holding beatrice upright.
"it's a stinger." annabeth replied then looked at beatrice in worry. "grover, do you know what kind of monster has one of those?" she turned to grover, almost panicking.
"i don't know. i mean, nothing good probably." the satyr answered.
beatrice held her shoulder. she didn't feel like she was dying. "do you feel okay?" she looked at annabeth, nodding her head in reply.
"i think so. you think it's poisonous or something?" beatrice asked. "oh, please don't tell me i'm gonna die."
"open his door, right now!" the officers continued to shout from the other side.
"i'm not sure." annabeth answered honestly.
the train shuddered once again and began to slow down. the sound of metal creaking could be heard from inside. the four looked over and saw the monster edging closer to them. course, the officers couldn't see it, but they could.
the monster growls and their eyes widen.
"we gotta move." beatrice said before shoving the three forward and running off with them. "go, go, go!" she held her shoulder as annabeth managed to get a door open, and run outside.
they run across the train tracks, getting to the other aside. turning around, they look at the train.
