Kaira had been on lunch, when the school librarian had approached her.
"Ah Kaira. " She said.
"Oh Mrs. Hwang, Hi. " Kaira said putting her fork down.
"May I join you? " She said.
"Oh yes, of course, please. " Kaira said.
Mrs. Hwang sat down.
"I'm so sorry I haven't been able to call you, works been a bit busy these days. " Mrs. Hwang said.
"Oh no worries, Mrs. Hwang. " She said.
"Thank you sweetheart, but since you're here, do you still want that librarian job? " Mrs. Hwang added.
"Yes, more than anything. " Kaira said with a smile.
"Well good, when can you start? " Mrs. Hwang added.
"As soon as possible, if I may. " Kaira said.
"Hm okay well, how about the 20th? " Mrs. Hwang said.
"The 20th is perfect, thank you Mrs. Hwang so much, I won't let you down. " Kaira said.
She smiled.
"Oh honey, I know you won't, can you come by the library before you head home today, so I can give you your new set of library keys?" Mrs. Hwang said.
"Yes! I most definitely can! Thank you again, I cannot wait to work with you. " Kaira added.
"Neither can I sweetheart, welcome to the team, enjoy your lunch. " Mrs. Hwang said.
Kaira got up and bowed.
"Thank you. " She said.
"No need for all that sweetheart, your smile is just enough, I'll see you later okay? " Mrs. Hwang said.
"Yes! Thank you again! " Kaira said.
She rubbed Kaira on the arm and smiled.
"Bye sweetie. " She said.
"Have a good rest of your day! " Kaira said waving goodbye.
Mrs. Hwang waved back and walked away.
Kaira immediately grabbed her phone to call Jake and tell him the news.
She sat back down and continued eating her salad as she waited for Jake too answer.
But there was no answer.
"Hm? That's weird? He always answers? Maybe he's still asleep, I'll leave him a voicemail. " Kaira said.
After Jake didn't answer she immediately called Sunghoon.
He always answered her.
The phone rang when he finally picked up.
"Yes my little KK? " Hoonie added.
"Hoonie! " She said in excitement.
He chuckled.
"Okay ouch, my eardrums, but what's with the excitement? " He said.
"Oh! Sorry! But, I got the job! " She said.
"The library one?! " He said.
"Yes! Ah! I got it! " She said.
"Really?! " He said.
"Yes! I can't believe it! " She said.
"Aw KK, I'm so proud of you! Congratulations stinkball ! " He said.
