I had facetimed Paul and Meadow a couple of times over the past 10 days but we have both been very busy to actually have long conversations. They would only last about 5 minutes as Paul was always needed on set and I was busy with school work and my job which I had got at a local record store. Meadow was flying back to LA tomorrow so that she would be back in time for her friends birthday party and then she would be staying with myself and Laura for the weekend before Paul travels back.

Paul had texted me letting me know what time Meadow would board the plane and what time she would land. I had been getting the spare bedroom ready for her and brought a shit load of junk food to indulge in over the weekend.

I was currently waiting inside a cafe at the airport for Meadow to call me when she gets through the terminal. I queue to get myself and Meadow a drink web my phone starts ringing. "Hello." I answer. "Ok stay there, I'm on my way." I say.

I start walking over to where Meadow said she was waiting and she smiles widely and starts waving when she sees me. "It's been a while freckles." I say jokingly using the nickname I had given her, due to her freckles. She gives me a massive bear hug.

"I've been counting down the days. By the way, all dad talks about is you and cars." Meadow says as I grab her suitcase from her.

"Why is that such a bad thing." I smirk referring to the 'me' part as I pull her suitcase along whilst we walk to my car. "You don't pack light do you?" I say laughing. Her suitcase weighed a ton. I'm not sure how she managed to pull it alone herself.

"Hey, I'm a girl. Just kidding. Dad bought me some stuff whilst we were out there." I nod as I open my car and go to the back to put the suitcase in the trunk whilst Meadow hops in.

"You have full control of the music." I say handing her my phone to plug in. "Do your worst." I say laughing. She grins and we end up listening to some whack music but she eventually puts on one direction and we end up screaming along to no control.

We arrive in our neighbourhood and I see Laura open the door from my rear view mirror. She must of have heard the car engine.

"Let's get the party started!" She screams as she approaches us and Meadow screams "Woohoo!" In response. I laugh shaking my head.

"First, you need to call your dad and let him know you got here safely." I ruffle Meadows hair as I walk past with her suitcase.

"Alright mom!" Laura says earning a giggle from Meadow and an eye roll from me. This should be fun babysitting these two crazy people.

They both head into the lounge and I'm left carrying the heavy suitcase up the stairs which feels like I'm carrying it up four storeys.

When I go downstairs Meadow is on the phone with Paul and I over hear Laura ordering pizza.

"Yeah, she's right here. Ok." I hear Meadow say. "He wants to speak to you." She winks at me as she holds the phone out towards me. I shake my head.

I take it from her and she runs off into the kitchen.

"Sup homeboy." I say trying to sound serious.

"Have you been drinking?" Paul asks me laughing. I love hearing his voice over the phone. He sounds very tired though.

"No. I'm in the company of a ten year old, who do you think I am?" I say acting offended by his accusations.

"Good to hear that you're both behaving." Paul says uneasily.

"You don't need to worry, I'm quite the responsible adult when I need to be." I say. I repeat, when I need to be.

"Well then I can sleep well knowing that my only child is in good hands." He chuckles.

"Is there anything she doesn't like eating? We're ordering pizza right now." I ask Paul.

"Nah, she eats anything. Pizzas a good choice to keep a child quiet." He says.

I laugh. "How are things at your end? You sound like you need a 12 hour nap."

"I'm exhausted, but having a good time. I can't wait to sleep in my own bed."

"You do have a pretty dope bed." I say recalling when we laid in his bed watching TV. "The pizzas here so I should go before the others eat it all." I say as I hear the doorbell and see Laura and Meadow carrying the boxes into the kitchen.

"Alright, just call me if you have any problems with Meadow." He says.

"Will do. See ya." I hang up and run to the kitchen to see Laura and Meadow alright digging into the food like two pigs.
