Sasuke Pov:
This scene is highly awkward.
Ino and Meiko are crying over whatever they witnessed in Raijin's memories. My former teacher from my 'bad time' stands on the other side of the hospital. My daughter is in an exposing bathing suit and the child that caused so much trouble lies comatose.
"What did you see?" Naruto asks when Meiko pulls away. She wipes her tears quickly and gives us a shaky smile.
Ino remains in Sai's embrace but turns her head around to include herself in the conversation.
I discreetly shoot a glance over to Orochimaru and his sons. Orochimaru and the younger son look intrigued whilst the older boy looks bored.
I clear my throat before anyone can say anything.
"Orochimaru would you and your company like to refresh yourselves in the guest rooms?" My question is underlined with an order.
"Of course. Thank you Sasuke." Orochimaru purposely leaves out the 'lord' part but I don't particularly mind. Being a Lord is so boring.
If only Naruto hadn't sent those three maids away. I could've asked them to escort Orochimaru and his sons to their rooms.
Naruto can't go. Sai can't go for Ino's sake. Temari and Sakura won't go. Meiko and Ino can't go. I refuse to let Orochimaru near my daughter. So that leaves Shikamaru. He'll hate me for this but I can't find it in me to care.
"Shikamaru will escort you." I inform them. Shikamaru for his part doesn't attempt to kill me for sticking him with them.
"What a drag." He mutters quietly, not wanting to insult our guests but still annoyed regardless.
"I wouldn't talk where anyone could be listening." Shikamaru advises as he leaves. A small frown is crested on his face as he looks at Raijin.
I nod. His advise is directed towards both our children and the unconcious one on the table.
The younger child of Orochimaru-I believe his name to be Mitsuki- gives a parting look towards Raijin. Orochimaru and the older child-Log, I believe- bow and leave smoothly.
"Sarada, Cho Cho and Shikidai, you should return to your rooms." Naruto says taking a hint for once.
Sarada pouts sourly. "Why should we? We found Raijin, why can't we stay?" She says glaring at me.
"A meeting of chance." I answer stubbornly.
"You would ask the same thing if you were in our position." Shikidai points out. His point is correct but I can't allow that to influence what the decision is.
Luckily his mother speaks up. "Shikidai Nara, if we were in your position we wouldn't have given this much cheek to our elders. You will go now child." She glares.
"Not according to the stories my father and Uncle Sai tell us." Cho Cho puts her hands on her hips.
She is correct. If it were us we would have absolutely annoyed the crap out of Lady Tsunade and Kakashi-sensei. But they don't need to know that.
"Children. I hate having to ask this but can you please go back to your rooms?" Meiko pleads.
Sarada huffs. "Fine big sister, but only for you." She exits the room in a huff, Cho Cho in tow.
"Uh, my King. Uncles and Aunties. Mother." Shikidai bows quickly and exits faster.
"What room are we going to?" Naruto asks.
