Konohamaru Pov:
Point and Shikidai are driving me insane with the looks they keep shooting each other.
I just get the feeling their planning something and considering that these two planned to leave the castle and succeed trapping the general, the smartest man in the kingdom, Queen and a shifter then anything they put their minds to is bad.
"Where'd you two go anyway?" I attempt to question them.
"For a walk y'know." Point grins at Shikidai who for his part rolls his eyes.
"And during this walk did you encounter anyone?" The citizens had been swarming with gossip over a fight that had occured between a hunter and child.
The child had won.
"Yes."
"No." Shikidai and Point cancel each other out.
I sigh. This is going to be a long walk if the conversation/interrogation is gonna go like this.
"So you ran into someone. Who was it?" I decide to take Shikidai's answer over Point's.
"A big, stupid, mean and smelly man otay! Nothing else to it y'know." Point crosses his arms and huffs loudly.
"Is this true Shikidai?"
"Yes big brother Konohamaru." The five year old confirms. I rub my temples. Shikidai will probably agree with anything Point says and Point will just make a story up so he won't reveal anything about himself.
"Queen Hinata was worried about you Point and Shikidai your mum is not happy with you for trapping your father in a pentagram." I inform the two hoping to spook them into some truth telling.
Point looks remorseful that Queen Hinata was worried and Shikidai looks scared.
"Is she still angry?" Shikidai asks.
"From what I last heard, yes." I chuckle as Shikidai's face pales. "It'll be fine." I pat his spiky hair and smile reassuringly. It's all fake though. No one messes with the Sand Princess not even her own family will escape her wrath.
"What a drag." He sighs. Point grins.
"Let's go the quick way, y'know!" Point suggests.
"Oh, and what's the quick way?" This has disaster written all over it.
"Come." He grabs my hand and he and Shikidai sprint over to the Botanic gardens.
"What's here?" I inquired as we stop in the centre beside a giant cherry blossom tree.
"Secrets." Point jumps up onto the seat residing in front of the tree and places his mini hand on the trunk.
"Open up y'know." He jumps back and nothing happens.
"Hmm, quick way huh?" I deadpan. He glares at me and unpredictably sticks his tongue out. It makes me laugh.
A rumbling sound is emitted from the tree and Point and Shikidai give me a 'told ya so' look. The cherry blossom cracks all the way down the middle and a passage way is opened.
"Told ya so, stupid." Point giggles and he and Shikidai sprint down the passage.
"Hey! Wait up you two!" I sprint down after them, both so I don't lose them and so I don't get lost in the tunnels.
I catch up to them as they peek through the walls and giggle at whatever they see.
"Whatcha guys looking at?" I ask. Point pulls me down by my scarf and gestures to a small crack.
